Colombia
Beleave has partnered with Procannmed in, a license holder for the cultivation, production, extraction of both THC and CBD medical cannabis in Colombia to supply the South American market.

Beleave has partnered with Canymed to supply the German market with medical cannabis, pending government approvals and GMP certification.
Canymed is a German Medical Cannabis company focused on the importation and wholesale distribution of medicinal cannabis to pharmacies, medical practices and hospitals throughout Germany.

Beleave Kannabis Beleave has developed a selection of cannabis products and offers indica, sativa and hybrid strains at varying price points and strengths to the Canadian market.
Seven Oaks Seven Oaks is Beleave’s brand for the recreational cannabis market with products currently sold in Ontario, Manitoba, and British Columbia.
Ultra Sour This high THC Indica-Dominant Hybrid strain is the result of breeding the Indica-Dominant MK Ultra with the Sativa-Dominant East Coast Sour Diesel. It’s an uplifting, best of both worlds strain of cannabis with THC levels from 13%-20%. Light green, a speckling of orange and a strong aroma that’s as sweet as it is sour.
Cold Creek Kush Cold Creek Kush is an Indica-dominant hybrid that crosses the powerful MK Ultra and Chemdawg 91. Piney and sour, users love its fresh taste and balanced effects.
CBD God Bud Created by mixing an almost pure Sativa strain called Hawaiian with a very strong purple Indica strain. The effects of God Bud are euphoric and relaxing.
Pink Kush Pink Kush, derived from its OG Kush relative, is an indica-dominant hybrid with strong body- focused effects. Pink hairs pop from bright green buds, hardly visible under vast sugar- like trichomes. Sweet vanilla and candy are the strongest tasting notes.

San Fernando Valley San Fernando Valley has an energetic profile and was bred to provide a more cerebral experience. The bud has light green flowers with sparkling trichomes and a citrus aroma. San Fernando Valley is a relative of OG Kush and a parent of SFV OG.

The design of this laboratory is based on recent work that has stemmed from research collaborations with principal investigators at Ryerson University, Department of Chemistry and Biology (Dr. Lesley Campbell), and which has led to the development by Beleave of a proprietary (patent-pending) and large-scale industrial method for extraction and purification of cannabinoid compounds from plant tissue.
In October 2018, Beleave completed the construction of a new state-of-the-art industrial extraction laboratory at its production facility in Hamilton, Ontario.

On November 27, 2018 Beleave filed a regularly submitted United States patent application for the method which involves the activation, extraction and purification of cannabinoid active ingredients (including Δ⁹-tetrahydrocannabinol [THC], and cannabidiol [CBD]) from cannabis using only potable components and chromatography, without organic solvents.
This method delivers high purity cannabinoid compounds using a simple low-cost process that is scalable and efficient. Beleave Kannabis Corp. has been authorized by Health Canada to sell cannabis oil products effective January 11, 2019.

Product Development
We formulate cannabis extracts into soluble, flavour-less powders for use in beverages and food products using stability-enhancing techniques for prolonged shelf-life. The final product offered to consumers will be a flexible, food-grade ingredient that delivers an accurate dose of THC and CBD when ingested orally.
R&D being conducted at Beleave's Hamilton facility stems from a patent application submitted by Dr. Chen and Dr. Rogers, and is owned by Beleave. Manufacturing and extraction will be scaled-up to industrial levels and moved to Beleave's London, Ontario facility in the future.
Patenting Solubility
Low water solubility of extracts or oils makes incorporating them into food products or beverages difficult and can lead to low bioavailability, poor shelf-life, and unpredictable dosing; our patent-pending process addresses and solves these problems.
In November 2018, Beleave announced it had developed water-soluble cannabis-infused powders in preparation for the adult recreational cannabis-infused food and beverage market later this year.

Collaborative Partners
Mutually beneficial partnerships produce groundbreaking research and innovation that drives economic growth, solves complex problems, and creates a more skilled workforce.
Dr. Lesley Campbell is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biology at Ryerson University. She is an evolutionary biologist with a strong history studying weedy and invasive plant evolution and currently possesses a federally issued Industrial Hemp Research License. She has previously worked on industrial C. sativa production problems including heritability, maternal effects, phenotypic plasticity and extraction protocols.
Dr. Mohit Bhandari is a world-leading researcher specializing in large international Research Chair at McMaster University, a University Scholar, and the Associate Chair of Research for Surgery. He was won numerous awards for contributions to research and evidence-based orthopaedics including the Order of Ontario, and the Kappa Delta award.
Michael Rogers joined the Department of Food Science in 2014 after holding faculty positions at Rutgers University and the University of Saskatchewan and as the Center Director for the Gastrointestinal Physiology Center at New Jerseyʼs Institute of Food, Nutrition and Health. He studies molecular gels, self-assembly of nano-fibers and nanotechnology, focusing on delivery of bio-actives and the biophysics of digestion. Michael is also the departmentʼs graduate coordinator for the M.Sc. thesis and Ph.D. programs.

Bill Panagiotakopoulos Chief Executive Officer, and Director
Bill was an early mover in Canada’s cannabis sector and has contributed significantly to successfully navigating the regulatory framework to obtain a cannabis production and sales license. Bill was the founder and owner of Cardinal Group Inc, specializing in evaluating opportunities and helping set strategic goals in business development.
Dr. Roger Ferreira Chief Science Officer and Director
Dr. Ferreira leads Beleave's science and innovation program, which has resulted in the development of novel and proprietary methods for extraction/purification of cannabinoid compounds, and methods for soluble cannabinoid formulations for cannabis food and drug development. He is also responsible for developing Beleave’s QA program, and has directly overseen the acquisition of the company’s cultivation, processing, and sales licenses
Kevin Keagan Chief Communications Officer, Interim CFO, and Director
Kevin brings extensive experience, with over 25 years in capital markets working within the financial services industry to provide oversight to the operation, expansion, and direction of Beleave's communications and capital markets initiatives. As Beleave prepares for exciting announcements in the next year, Kevin will provide valuable strategic guidance to support the our growth and development.
Justin Kalsaka Director of Operations
Justin is one of the founders of Beleave and is currently responsible for overseeing the cultivation and processing of Beleave’s cannabis products. He earned his master’s degree (MASc) and bachelor’s degree (BSc) from Ryerson University. Justin is experienced in analytical, materials, and synthetic chemistry; his interest lies in combining his three areas of expertise with medical marijuana, and he is always looking for new and interesting research opportunities in the field.

Patience John Quality Assurance Manager
Patience is a dedicated professional with over 15 years of experience in quality control and assurance roles in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industries, and is proficient in laboratory procedures, GMP/GPP compliance systems and related regulations. She is also a trained researcher who enjoys researching various scientific topics to increase her knowledge or to find solutions to problems. Patience holds a M.Sc. degree in microbiology and a graduate certificate in biotechnology from McGill University, Quebec.
Amy Nederlander Independent Director
Amy is an entrepreneur with extensive experience in strategic business development. She is the CEO and Co-Founder of L!FE Leaders, Inc. which focuses on teaching skills for career success. She also built eProv Studio into a multi-platform business promoting entrepreneurship and is well known for her extensive involvement in the theater and entertainment business having produced a number of Broadway and off-Broadway productions. Amy has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelors form the University of Michigan.
James Wasserstrom Independent Director
Jim has extensive international experience and expertise in governance, compliance and internal control. He spent the early part of his career in various corporate capacities, including as a global partnerships executive for American Express Travel Related Services. Jim has participated in a variety of boards and committees worldwide, predominantly focused on governance and transparency.
Andrew Steane Independent Director
With over 25 years of software industry experience, Andrew has extensive experience in sales, marketing, operations and governance with industry giants such as Microsoft and SAP. Working with legal and compliance teams, he has co-authored global policy documents and managed governance processes for multi-million-dollar marketing budgets. Andrew has led sales operations for a software business in excess of $800M in revenue, identifying key business trends used to set strategic direction across a global organization.
