Since we are still in the midst of a pandemic, Halloween will be celebrated a bit differently this year at Crescent Oaks. Unfortunately, we will not be able to have the kiddies come over to parade their costumes for our residents. However, we will still have the staff and residents dress up, have our annual costume and pumpkin decorating contest and, of course, a party with a bunch of goodies for all to enjoy. If you would like to drop off a costume for your loved one to wear, please do so early this month. We will be taking pictures and share them with you via our Facebook and Instagram pages. We also want to encourage everyone to safely enjoy Halloween. Some ideas are to maximize your house decorations, host a Zoom costume party, buy glow in the dark eggs or reuse your old Easter eggs and decorate them with glow in the dark markers or stickers, add candy and hide them inside the house or in the yard, and take a drive around your neighborhood to see how others have decorated their houses. Happy Halloween! Grace
