1.6 RESOURCE REQUIREMENT
1.6.1 CONSTRUCTION PHASE
The project has already been constructed
1.6.2 OPERATION PHASE
The following are the major requirements in the operation phase:
A POWER
About 3400 kVA of power will be required for the project and will be
sourced from the TSSPDCL. During periods of power outages, the
emergency power will be supplied through two standby DG sets each
of 1250 kVA.
B WATER SUPPLY
The total water requirement of the project during operation phase is
estimated to be 205 kld.
The fresh water requirement is estimated at 205 kld will be met from
(HMWSSB)/Water tankers.
Shanta Sriram – Tech Park Gachibowli Village, Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, Telangana.
EMP Report
Project proponent
Shanta Sriram Construction Pvt. Ltd 7 B.S. Envi-Tech (P) Ltd., Sec’bad.
C SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT
The estimated wastewater is 154 kld which is treated in STP of 175
kld capacity. 115 kld will be a treated wastewater from the STP. This
treated wastewater from the STP will be disposed to the existing sewer
line.
D MANPOWER
The project will provide direct employment to the about 5 people and
indirect employment for 30 peoples for service providers/facility
management.

CHAPTER – 2: ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT PLAN
Environmental Management Plan of the project has been formulated
keeping in view of current Environmental guidelines standard for
Building Projects provided by Ministry of Environmental, Forests and
Climate Change (MoEF&CC) and Telangana State Pollution Control
Board (TSPCB).
The following mitigation measures are in order to synchronize the
development of the project with the environmental protection. The
construction phase impacts are mostly short term, restricted to the
plot area and not envisaged on the larger scale. In the operation phase
the environmental impacts are due to operation of the project and
hence, the emphasis in the Environment Management Plan (EMP) is to
minimize such impacts.
FIG – 6 Master plan of the project
Following sections describe the environment management plan for
operation phases.
2.1 ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT PLAN DURING OPERATION
PHASE
The Environmental Management Plan to be implemented during
operation phase is discussed under the following heads
a. Water Environment
b. Air environment
c. Noise Environment
d. Solid waste generation
Details of management plan of each environmental component are
given below:
2.1.1 WATER ENVIRONMENT
WATER CONSUMPTION AND WASTEWATER GENERATION
Total water consumption in the operation phase is about 205 kld. Of
this, about 154 kld is the wastewater generation from the project.
