Setup: K 2 rows in garter st.

Row 1: [RS] K2, yo, k2tog, pm, *K2tog, yo* 4 times, k1, pm, p1, k1, p1, k1, pm, *K2tog, yo* 4 times, k1, pm, p1, k1, p1, k1, pm, *K2tog, yo* 4 times, k1, pm, ssk, yo, k2.

Row 2: [WS] k2, yo, k2tog, m, p9, m, k1, p1, k1, p1, m, p9, m, k1, p1, k1, p1, m, p9, m, ssk, yo, k2.

Row 3: [RS] k2, yo, k2tog, m, k1, *k2tog, yo* 3 times, k2, m, p1, k1, p1, k1, m, k1, *k2tog, yo* 3 times, k2, m, p1, k1, p1, k1, m, k1, *k2tog, yo* 3 times, k2, m, ssk, yo, k2.

Repeat these four rows until you are ½ an inch from your desired length. Then k2 rows in garter and bind off.
