Volunteer Opportunity: Donut Ministry

The Catholic Center community thanks Joyce Waller for

coordinating our Donut Ministry during the past school

year! Now it’s time to pass the baton for the upcoming

2015-2016 school year. We are looking for someone to

coordinate the volunteer schedule for donuts after the

10AM Sunday Masses. Please call the office if you would like to sign up for

the Donut Ministry or are interested in learning more about what it entails.

Two “free” ways to contribute $$ to the Catholic Center

If you shop online or if you shop at Kroger, you can help the Catholic Center at UGA by registering us as your selected non-profit. It costs you nothing extra when shopping online and does not affect your personal Kroger rewards account, but many online vendors and Kroger participate in programs which will donate a portion of the proceeds from your purchases back to your designated non-profit. It is very simple: you shop for the things that you would purchase anyway, and the Catholic Center benefits!

Kroger Community Rewards

Register online at krogercommunityrewards.com and select 22875 or The Catholic Center at UGA as your designated non-profit.

Goodshop for the Catholic Center

Register the Catholic Center at UGA as your selected non-profit at goodshop.com. Then use Goodshop when shopping at over 5,000 of your favorite online stores.

Fr. Tom at Holy Name Friary On Tuesday, June 9, Fr. Tom made the journey from St. Mary’s Hospital to the Holy Name Province Infirmary in Ringwood, NJ. The Holy Name Infirmary is an excellent healthcare facility, where Fr. Tom can continue his rehab and receive the care he needs. It is also a friary, where Fr. Tom will no doubt be a

tremendous blessing to others and will receive the support of the friar community. (You may recall, this is the “Infirmary” to which all proceeds from our annual St. Francis Days celebration are donated.) You may now send cards directly to Fr. Tom at:

Fr. Tom Vigliotta, ofm Holy Name Friary

2 Morris Road Ringwood, NJ 07456-1700

Thank you so much for your generous outpouring of love and support, and please continue to keep Fr. Tom in your prayers.
