Our beautiful authentic chapel features an exquisite stained glass altar and rich burnished cathedral ceilings. With full heating and air-conditioning, year round comfort is ensured. Alternatively, enjoy an out-door ceremony within our lovely gardens.

PRE-DINNER DRINKS & CANAPESServed on the veranda, a selection of hot and cold canapés with champagne cocktails beverages listed below.
DININGA sumptuous three course meal comprising of an Entree, 2 Main Course and a Dessert selection.A choice of the two selections in the Main Course is given to the bridal and parents tables. The remainder ofyour guests are served alternately. All meals are served with freshly baked crusty dinner rolls and fresh sea-sonal vegetables accompany the main meal. The meal concludes with freshly percolated coffee and brewed tea, chocolates and port. Your wedding cake can be served on platters with tea and coffee, or individually served in our cake bags.

The Prestige Package can be altered by the following two items:- If you are not having the Chapel service at Ballara, we will deduct the $450 Chapel fee off your account.- If you are not using the DJ we will deduct $550 off the final account.
CHAPEL OR GARDEN WEDDINGS
Intimate ceremonies may be held in our exquisite stained glass chapel or in the gorgeous gardens. The$450 fee includes the function co-ordinator, pew bows, silk floral arrangements, and an additional hourof time immediately prior to the reception commencement (for example, if having a 5pm ceremony, thereception follows from 6 til 11 pm).

Prestige Package
Terms1. Tentative Bookings -To give you the opportunity to plan your function, we can place a tentative booking on your preferred date for a period of 7 days. Ballara reserves the right to remove a tentative booking after the booking has been held for 7 days, without notice.
2. Bookings & ConfirmationA booking is only considered confirmed by the payment of a deposit of $1,000 and the receipt by Ballara of the Booking Form signed by the client. Two months prior to the function, a further $1,000 deposit is payable at your Final Arrangements Meeting at Ballara.
3. TimesPlease confirm your service and reception commencement times with us before you print your invitations. The times stated on the booking form must be adhered to. Changes can only be made after discussion with Ballara and upon written confirmation. Evening weddings may also extend the duration of the reception if desired at an additional cost. Chapel weddings must be in the hour immediately prior to the reception.
4. PhotosPhotos may be taken on Ballara’s grounds free of charge, and you may commence any time up to one hour prior to the reception time. If choosing to hold your ceremony on site, we shall organise the serving of pre-dinner drinks and savouries to coincide with the taking of your photos.
5. Musical ArrangementsYou are required to book your own band, however, we do recommend that you hire one of our suggested bands (band pack with demo CDs available on loan), as they know our format, they will MC for you, and are all professional entertainers. If supplying your own band the musician’s award stipulates that members must receive a meal, which are charged at $44 per person and you will need to organise your own master of ceremonies. Bands can be no greater than four piece, and any external bands must be checked with Ballara before booking. Ballara Receptions has noise meter equipment installed to ensure your guests enjoyment.
6. Guest NumbersYour final guest numbers are required 14 days prior to the function date. The client agrees that the final cost of the function shall be determined by the guest numbers we have 7 days prior to the function date and shall be determined by that number, or the minimum number of Adult guests required for the applicable date, whichever is the greater.
7. Final PaymentA second deposit of $1,000.00 is payable at Final Arrangements Meeting, 3 months prior to the wedding.Final payment for all functions shall be made by the client 4 working days prior to the function in cash, bank cheque, direct debit or credit card (bankcard, visa & MasterCard only). Credit cards incur a 2% surcharge. Personal cheques will be accepted as long as 5 full working days clearance is provided.
8. ChildrenChildren’s prices are $44 per child between the ages of 2 and 12 years. Minimum number of guests does not include children. Children under the age of two years will not be provided with a meal or a seat unless charged for.
9. Price IncreasesPrice increases apply for each new year from the 1st of January, however all prices agreed to on the booking application form shall be adhered to. The price listed does not include any optional extras, these prices are listed separately and are subject to change without notice. All prices are GST inclusive.
10. CancellationsNotice of cancellation must be made in writing and received by Ballara Receptions. Deposits less a $250 booking fee will only be refunded upon the re-booking of the cancelled date with a similar function of equal value by 3 months prior to the cancelled date. By 3 months prior to the booked date, cancellations forfeit the whole deposit if not rebooked. When cancellations are made within 3 months of the booked date no refund is given. Cancellations made within 3 weeks of the wedding incur 2/3rds payment of the final balance owing. Bookings are non-transferable.
11. DamageBallara Receptions shall not be responsible for loss of, or damage to, property left on the premises prior to, during or after the func-tion. The client accepts responsibility for any damage to the premises or its fittings or equipment caused by the client’s guests or by outside contractors engaged by the client prior to, during or after the function. The client is required to inform all relevant persons involved in the organising of the function, whether colleagues or contractors, of these Terms & Conditions.
12. Responsible Service of AlcoholBallara reserves the right to exclude or eject any guest from the function or the premises. Ballara staff are trained in the ‘Responsible Serving of Alcohol’’, and by law may refuse to serve alcohol to any person/s who we deem to be intoxicated., or who causes any nuisance.
13. Supplying Own FoodIf you are supplying any food for this function, you will need to sign an indemnity form against any actions, claims, demands, losses, damages or costs arising from the consumption of the food that you have supplied.
14. Alterations to ContractAny alteration to these terms and conditions must be in writing and signed by both relevant parties.
