TOP 3 PLAYERS IN

ALL VICTORIAN

CLUB

Collingwood:

1: Dale Thomas. I think Dale is certainly number one because he is

a positive attribute to the club, a great mark, and has pulled of

some cool tricks in the past.

2:Travis Cloke. Most people that have seen him play would instant-

ly realise he is the AFL’s greatest mark. But after finally being

taught how to kick, he has come back to kick the third most goals

in the AFL.

3: Andrew Krakouer. Despite being recently jailed, he has risen to

become a Collingwood legend. He has kicked you wouldn’t think

possible to kick, and has taken a contender for mark of the year.

Bulldogs

1: Mathew Boyd. Having the most AFL possessions this year, he is

certainly an inspiring player for all. Being a good kick and a fast

runner, he will be great for years to come.

2: Callan Ward. After being asked to play for Greater Western Syd-

ney, he has all of a sudden become a lot more important than he

was. A young rising star, he is a great player, and will be great for

years Bulldogs or not!

3:Luke Dalehouse. He is a great midfielder,

with even greater hair. He is an exceptional

player, due to his fast pace and good decision making. Booting the

occasional goal, he will play good footy for years to come, I can

guarantee.

Richmond

1:Jack Riewoldt. He is cousins with St Kilda’s captain Nick Rie-

woltd, so you would imagine he is very good. He is!. He has kicked

some unbelievable goals, and is a good mark. It also helps being a

good kick (unlike his cousin). He will captain Richmond for years to

come.

2:Dustin Martin. He has improved since he first came to Richmond

by far. He is a phenomenal kick, and a good strong midfield. He

knows how to carry the ball under pressure. He was a stand out

against Sydney (which led to a win), and played well against Mel-

bourne the following week.

3: Brett Deledio. He is fast, energetic, and has helped Richmond

many times. He knows how to kick and handball efficiently, and he

uses that to his advantage. He will become a legend if he keeps

this up.

St Kilda

1:Nick Riewoltd. He is the captain of a team that has made

the biggest comeback of 2011. St Kilda was previously 13th

on the ladder, meaning there finals dreams were over. But

Nick made the dream a reality, taking countless marks and

making good decisions that put his team into 6th place. But

unfortunately they were defeated by Sydney, who were bat-

tling for a spot in the eight. Now Nick will be trying his limits

and putting his body on the line for that last chance.

2:Brendon Goddard. He was a stand out against Collingwood

(unfortunately) in the 2010 grand final, taking a mark and

kicking the goal that put St Kilda in the lead for the first time

in the game. An excellent kick and a good fast player, he will

be in top form come the finals.

3:Stephen Milne. A great player that can pull off some sweet

tricks, Milne is a player that the Saint’s really want to keep a

hold of. He has pace that opponents envy, and he has a dead

Melbourne

1:Jack Trengove. A fantastic player that wears the

famous number 9, the number Jimmy Stynes wore

when he played for Melbourne.

2: Colin Sylvia. He played well against Richmond in

round 22, kicking three goals, and having an

astounding 37 disposals. He has played well in

both the 2010 clashes against Collingwood, and

has done exceptionally well this year. His efforts are amazing.

3:Jarred Rivers. He has been in the top 5 players for 7 years

in a row now, 5 of which he was second best. He has pulled

off some good tricks in the past, which makes a good club

player. He also has come 4th in the 2005 Brownlow medal

competition.

Page 5: footy magazine

A fantastic player that strives hard every day, he is a legend

3:Liam Jurrah. He trys his hardest every single day. He marks with

pride and shoots with ease. I know he will impress his fans.

Carlton, Hawthorn, Essendon, and North Melbourne have not revealed their top 3

players yet, but they have given us permission to have a vote on who should be the top

3 players in their teams. So, THE BOUNCE has decided that we should have a poll. To

vote, go to our website at www.THE BOUNCEVictoria.com.au, or SMS your favourite 3

players to THE BOUNCE. The votes will be revealed in issue #47.
