Welcome Back! Welcome back to Term 4. It’s fantastic to see all the happy and smiling faces back and ready for a term full of learning and fun. Term 4 is going to be a big one, we have a lot happening this term and I think it’s going to be very exciting. This will be a busy term with plenty of activities happening so please make sure to keep your email address and all personal details up to date so you don’t miss any information throughout the term. Please remember the school rules and remember that in Term 4 all students must wear a hat. Please see below a reminder about our school Values.
SCHOOL VALUES A lot of schools and organisations have their values that they talk about but the big test is whether the
organisation lives its values and how do we measure it. We have come up with our expectations around each of our values with the behaviours that we would see if our students, staff and parents lived our values. This information is given out to all parents when you enrol your children into our school. We have also developed a short checklist for all our students to provide a quick snapshot of how they are going on a day by day basis. Please find the following list and talk to your children about the list:
Our Value of Respect is shown when we enter the room quietly and sit down where we are
expected to.
Our Value of Respect is shown when we treat every person the way we like to be treated.
Our Values of Trust and Respect are shown when we do our very best to keep our classroom and
school grounds tidy.
Our Value of Sense of Humour is shown when we do our best to enjoy each other’s company.
Our recent Attitudes to School Survey shows that our students like and trust their teachers and enjoy the work that they are doing in their classrooms because it is challenging and relevant. Our survey also tells us that their level of respect for each other is lower than the other areas. This is the reason why we often have to help them solve their disputes. Please encourage your children to engage in respectful behaviours with everyone they meet.
Dear Parents, Staff, Students & Friends, A word from our Principal:

School Attendance
Learning begins at 9am on the dot. This means students must be in class
before 9am to put their bags away and settle in.
The first bell goes at 8:50am and teachers open the doors to allow
students to get ready for learning.
It is NOT OK to be late as students miss very important learning and this
can hinder their academic success and future life opportunities.
If you need assistance with issues to enable your children to be at school
on time please contact Colin Wagg or Debbie Dodd.
On Tuesday, MBH was visited by two members of the Young Engineer’s program. The students were really
engaged and learned a lot in just 90 minutes. A weekly after school program is starting in Casey next week.
Below is information about the program and a link to the
registration form.
