Introduction
Its been a very difficult task keeping pace with the various
plans, policies and programmes being executed by the
administration of President Goodluck Jonathan. For an
administration that came into being a couple of years
ago, any close observer will be amazed at the number oftangible achievements that it has attained. This is in spite
of the instability caused by the unprecedented internal
security challenges which not only gulped enormous
resources but also impeded physical delivery of projects
in some areas.
Contained in this pocket-size book is a compilationof highlights of the feats recorded so far under the
Transformation Agenda of President Jonathan. You
would agree with me that it is impossible to capture
every detail in a big book, much less in a little book.
The purpose of this booklet is to provide important
information, at a quick glance, to the reader. Anappreciation of the commitment of President Jonathan
to the transformation of Nigeria starts from looking
at the hard facts on what he has done so far. A lot of
these achievements need to be highlighted in case they
have escaped the attention of those who are genuinely
interested in the countrys development. This is just the first in a series.
