Save the Dates! Kicking off our theme of “Use What “U” Got,” Dr. William H. Curtis will be back to bless us for Fall Word Explosion on Septem-ber 17th, 18th, and 19th! Plan to be here each night at 6:00pm for teaching and service at 6:30pm.

Hygiene Packages for the Maryland Correctional Institution for Women in Jessup. Bins are in the lobby. Acceptable items include: regular sized shampoo, shower gel, deodorant, and lo-tion. There is also a need for plain white panties in all sizes, espe-cially size 8 and above.

Christian Education The goal of our Christian Education Ministry is to grow strong disciples - spiritually, financially, and emotionally. Classes are available for Children, Youth, Young Adults and Adults, and facilitators are always welcome. Duante Duckett, Pastor) for Pastoral Anniversary. 15th—FLC Ribbon Cutting at 9am at 1600 Whitehead Court as we celebrate Phase 1 of our FLC Building. Come see more class-room and meeting space for our MSBC Campus! 23rd—Youth Day as the Youth lead us at all day in Worship. St. Jude Sunday as a Ministry, Morning Star supports the amaz-ing ways St. Jude supports families nationwide. Greater Praise resumes for our Children (PreK—5th Grade) at 9:15am in the Chapel. 29th—Community SHRED Day at 1512 Woodlawn Drive from 9am to 1pm (or until the trucks fill up). Bring up to 3 bags/boxes for this free on-site shredding event to help guard against identi-fy theft with proper disposal and easy drive-and-drop setup.

Community Baby Shower—This co-ed event at 6665 Security Blvd from 10am—4pm will have demos for infant CPR, Healthy Food, Exercise and information sessions on safe sleep, car seat safety, and preconception. Register @EventBrite.com for this “Not Your Ordinary Baby Shower.”
