Club Members Report

Gary Oman Reports:

“Good afternoon! I just wanted to let you know that I called Ted Belastock yesterday to wish him a happy birthday. He turned 87. We had a nice conversation. He told me he gets out 3 or 4 times each week to walk with his wife Gloria up and down a nearby hill. He misses being out playing in his bands. Even though Gloria is a good cook, Ted took over the cooking years ago because he really enjoys cooking! Vinnie Macrina called him a week or so ago…they had a great conversation. BTW Ted used to occasionally join Vinnie in one of the music rooms at BHS where the two of them would jam for an hour or so…he misses this too…however, Vinnie told him that he still had access to the room if Ted ever wanted to jam with him again! I also shared the recent story in the Enterprise about Bridgewater’s Cameron Shave who started up his own big band jazz band and has produced some songs by gathering music played by the members remotely and mixing it all together through some technology apps that I have no idea how they work. It was nice to speak with Ted. Thought I would pass this along.”

Heather Reports: Things are going good with the grandchildren. Between doctors and other things that come up and then the need for 14 days isolation if we want to see the kids, time just flies by. It seems that Thursdays come and go before I know it. Miss the Rotary and the people even online. Hope to make it sooner than later. Hope all the best for you guys. Peter Crone Miss you too Peter!

Rotarians, if you have a minute, reach out to a fellow Rotarian and let us know what’s they’re up to. Some of our older friends are doing great things.
