Carol Zoffinger, a PhD in Human Services student, founded the nonprofit organization Zoe’s Journey to help mothers rebuild their lives after addiction, incarceration, or homelessness.

Dr. Heather Hefner, a PhD in Psychology graduate, partners with Refuge, an after-school program run primarily by volunteers, to provide mental health support for at-risk youth.

Benjamin Isaac, a Doctor of Education (EdD) student, is making a difference by creating an animated show to positively impact and inspire children with special needs.

Jazmin Chi-Aguillon, a BS in Business Administration graduate, founded LevGrow, an organization that improves education for children by transforming how they learn culture and values through stories, games, interactive toys, and animated videos.

The Richard W. Federal Financial Aid

Two-thirds of Walden students receive some form of financial aid.* If you think you might be eligible for federal financial aid, apply by submitting a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Please be sure to include Walden’s Title IV Code (025042) on the form. The review process can take five to eight weeks from the time you apply to receipt of funds, so apply early.
