FISCAL ACCOUNTABILITY

CIE is granted budget authority as part of the Office of the DOE Commissioner

All Commission revenue comes from fees collected from licensed institutions (no General Revenue)

Fees are the same since 2008

This fee-based revenue is deposited into the Institutional Assessment Trust Fund and is managed by the DOE
