UNMATCHED POWER DENSITYWith an overall height of 1.5" and a 3.3" x 5" footprint, the XL375 Series boasts a power density over 15 watts per cubic inch. It is ideally suited for OEMs using the industry standard 1U chassis. Seven models deliver output voltages from 12V to 56V, and up to four units can be wire-OR'ed together to increase the total main output power up to 1,400 watts.

HIGH EFFICIENCY IN A SMALL PACKAGEThe XL375 Series delivers up to 93% efficiency. Our unique design reduces energy consumption and generates less heat. It requires little forced air cooling, decreases AC loading, increases reliability and economy of operation. Comparisons of efficiencies show that our supplies can reduce losses up to 50%.

REPEATABLE QUALITYEach N2Power supply undergoes a complete functional test and a multi-hour burn-in to insure that every unit meets our stringent quality requirements. High Voltage, High Power LED DriversSynchronization, Dithering and Fixed Frequency Boost ControllerThe MIC3230/1/2 are constant current boost switching controllers specifically designed to power one or more strings of high power LEDs. The MIC3230/1/2 have an input voltage range from 6V to 45V and are ideal for a variety of solid state lighting applications.

The MIC3230/1/2 utilizes an external power device which offers a cost conscious solution for high power LED applications. The powerful drive circuitry can deliver up to 70W to the LED system. Power consumption has been minimized through the implementation of a 250mV feedback voltage reference providing an accuracy of ±3%. The MIC323x family is dimmable via a pulse width modulated (PWM) input signal and also features an enable pin for low power shutdown.

The XRP7620 is a multi purpose 4-channel independently adjustable current sink driver. Optimized for LED backlighting and RGBW/RGBA color mixing applications, the XRP7620 can also be used as a generic software programmable current sink I/O expander.

Support an industry standard 2-line I²C serial interface, the XRP7620 provides full independent control of each channel and can be programmed up to a current of 31.5mA in steps of 500μA. Uniform display brightness is ensured through a better than 3% channel to channel current matching. Five internal registers are provided to set operational configuration and individual channel current adjustment. A specific shutdown mode allows the device to retain the previously loaded configuration – operational and current adjustment – in order to be reused upon the next enabling.

The XRP7620 is designed to operate from a single cell lithium-ion battery or fixed 3.3V or 5.0V power rails and is available in a RoHS compliant, “green”/halogen free space saving 8-pin 2mm x 3mm DFN package.

LT3757 - Boost, Flyback, SEPIC and Inverting ControllerWide input range, current mode, DC/DC controller capable of generating either + or – output voltages The LT3757 is a wide input range, current mode, DC/DC controller which is capable of generating either positive or negative output voltages. It can be configured as either a boost, flyback, SEPIC or inverting converter. The LT3757 drives a low side external N-channel power MOSFET from an internal regulated 7.2V supply. The fixed frequency, current-mode architecture results in stable operation over a wide range of supply and output voltages.

The operating frequency of LT3757 can be set with an external resistor over a 100kHz to 1MHz range, and can be synchronized to an external clock using the SYNC pin. A low minimum operating supply voltage of 2.9V, and a low shutdown quiescent current of less than 1μA, make the LT3757 ideally suited for battery-operated systems.

The LT3757 features soft-start and frequency foldback functions to limit inductor current during start-up and output short-circuit.

The device is available in a small 10-lead DFN (3mm × 3mm) or MSOP package.

Si84xx ISOpro Ultra Low-Power Digital Isolators Offer industry-leading features and performanceWith more than 70 new products, the Silicon Labs Si84xx ISOpro ultra low-power digital Isolator family offers industry-leading features and performance across a broad 2.5 kV-rated isolation portfolio. The ISOpro family features the industry’s widest channel count with up to 6-channels in a single package, the highest data rate (up to 150 Mbps), lowest power (<1.4 mA per channel @ 1 Mbps), and highest ESD immunity (4 kV HBM, 400 V MM).

LTC4266 - Quad IEEE 802.3at Power Over Ethernet ControllerDelivers lowest-in-industry heat dissipation, eliminating the need for expensive heat sinks

The LTC4266 is a quad Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) controller designed for use in IEEE 802.3 Type 1 and Type 2 (high power) compliant Power over Ethernet (PoE) systems. The LTC4266 delivers lowest-in-industry heat dissipation by utilizing low Ron external MOSFETs and 0.25Ω sense resistors, eliminating the need for expensive heat sinks. External MOSFETs also provide a more robust solution compared to integrated MOSFETs.

Advanced power management features include: selectable high speed 9.5-bit (1kHz) or high resolution 14.5-bit current and voltage readback, a 7-bit DAC for overcurrent (ICUT), a unique nonlinear 8-bit programmable current limit (ILIM) and versatile quick shutdown of preselected ports. PD Discovery uses a proprietary dual-mode 4-point detection mechanism ensuring the best immunity from false PD detection. Midspan PSEs are supported with 2-event classification and a two second backoff timer. Legacy high-capacitance device detection is available. The LTC4266 includes an I2C serial interface operable up to 1MHz.

The LTC4266 is also a good choice for proprietary PoE PSE systems which may require more power than the new IEEE 802.3at standard allows. The LTC4266 can source up to 100W (4-pair) while otherwise remaining 100% compliant with IEEE 802.3at.

Two kits are available for the Si84xx ISOpro Isolators. The Si84xxISO-KIT is intended for basic functional testing and engineering validation of various ISOpro product configurations. The OPENLPPOL-EVB implements a single phase POL whose switching frequency can be varied from 100 to 500 kHz, and the duty cycle from 20 percent to 80 percent. This variability provides a convenient platform to fully evaluate the products in a typical point-of-load application. This reference design includes multiple isolation products from Silicon Labs.
