I love the Olympics

the level o competi-

tion, the stories o the

athletes, the global par-

ticipation, the hype, anare, and all therest. Not being an Olympian, or even

a good athlete doesnt keep me rom

watching, admiring, and cheering or

those who are. The commitment, dis-

cipline, sacrifce, and work that it takes

to compete at that level is inspirational.

Thats probably why there are so many

reerences and illustrations in scripture

to Christian living compared to com-peting, running, etc., like spiritual

Olympians. In Hebrews 12:1, we are in-

structed to run with perseverance the

race marked out or us. The Lord ha

a particular course marked out or eve

believer and has called us to exhibit thes

same characteristics, showing the wor

our Lord Jesus Christ in the clearest wa

possible. At Drive-in we are committe

to daily seeking to aithully and diligentollow the course the Lord has laid out o

us and honor Him in everyway we run.

A ten member team led by Pastor Pramod Paul visited

Ruah village, close to Harda center close to Purnia town.

Pramod was surprised to fnd that almost no one in the

village o about 1250 residents had ever heard about Je-

us Christ.

We have been very busy here in Romania!We used the

blue van rom TBBI or

about 20 days. Most o

it was when the group

rom First Baptist in

Hart , MI was here.

We divided up into two

teams and were able to be in two villages each evening.

I loved that we doubled up on the ministry.

When we came back together about midnight each

evening, both teams sat and shared what God did that

evening in each village! It was an amazing time. The

Americans were thrilled to be able to be involved in the

work and shared many stories about individuals they

met, witnessed to, and some led people to Christ! We

actually had many, many people come to Christ those

two weeks!

Wow! Its hard to believe that I have already been in

Romania with Jim Morgan or a whole month! Im very

happy to be here! I love this country and more than that

I love the people! They are amazing! Please continue to

pray or the ministry here as we continue working in the

villages! To God be all glory and honor and praise! God

New PropertyAll indications are that the city planning department

should grant the needed building permit this month,

and construction on the new headquarters/ministry

cility will begin. Some unds are

available to begin construction,

but we continue to trust the

Lord or the sale o the Florida

property at just the right timeand price so we will be able to continue the new co

struction. However, additional unds will still be neede

just to complete the frst phase.

pleting some building interior work and many outsidprojects. Some o these projects include RV campsit

Ministries was

perience and a

blessing to see

God work in a

mighty way.

We took the 5th wheel unit, loaded with donated med

cal equipment and supplies, about 8 hours inside Mex

co rom the Piedras Negras crossing where we had fv
