In this presentation, I will be asking you a couple of questions about my British Pop music magazine I will be creating.

I will be asking you your opinions on my work and suggestions to how it would make it better after you have seen my drafts and ideas for my final product.

The reason I have picked you is because you are in my target audience and your opinions are very important.

Page 3: Focus group presentation

I have been designing my own British

Pop magazine for my media

coursework, this is the genre i have

chosen because it is very unique and is

familiar around the UK.

My target market is young adults

(teenagers).

What will be happening..

Basically I will be showing you pieces of

my work that I have been working on to

create my final product. This includes:

Pitch for front cover, contents page &

double page spread.

Draft copies of my product (layout).

Details about what will be included.

Company/magazine name and fonts.

And then..

After you have seen

these I would like you to

give me your opinions

and suggestions...

Once you have done that, on the right

hand side of my blog under

‘CATERGORIES’, go on to ‘MUSIC

MAGAZINE’..

This takes you to all the information I

would like you to look at.

Company/magazine name...

I am unsure about the name I will be having for my magazine. I have come up with 4 different names:

B-POP

Chart

To The Top

British Pop Music

7. Which one do you prefer?

Last few questions..

8. Is £2.00 or £2.50 a better price for my magazine, and why?

9. Would concerts and festival information and pictures attract you more to the magazine? Explain.

10. Should this magazine be weekly or monthly?

and being part of my focus group.
