Furadan 3% Granular formulation of Carbofuran is FMCs flagship brand and is one of the

largest selling granular insecticides in India. In India, Furadan is registered in more than 25 crops

and has a special place in Indian agriculture. Even after 4 decades of its introduction in India, it

continues to be one of the most preferred insecticides of rice and sugarcane farmers.

Till date there is no recorded instance of resistance development to Furadan in any insect species

worldwide, thus making it a versatile choice to growers to manage the crop pests. Furadan,

registered in over 70 countries and over 90 crops, is a broad spectrum insecticide and nematicide

controlling a wide range of foliar pests, soil pests and nematodes. It provides the protection

necessary to control more than 300 species of pests that destroy the crops and decrease yields

and crop quality significantly. Furadan controls insects through contact as well as systemic mode

of action. It is absorbed through the insects cuticle (skin) or spiracles (respiratory openings), or

it can be ingested and absorbed through the gut.

Furadan Ultra is one of the leading insecticide brands of FMC. Furadan Ultra is exclusivelylaunched for the rice farmer with longer residual control, high phytotonic effect and pest control

efficacy. Furadan ultra provides an effective control of stem borer in rice nursery and early stage

of transplanted rice and suppresses Brown Plant Hopper in Rice. Furadan Ultra controls insects

Durmet Force, 50 % ECformulation of Chlorpyriphos, is a broad spectrum insecticide having

chewing insects of Paddy and Cotton crops.

Durmet D 505is an insecticide containing Chlorpyriphos 50% and Cypermethrin 5% in EC

formulation. Durmet D 505 is a broad spectrum insecticide having both contact and stomach

action. Durmet D 505 is highly recommended for the control of various pests like aphids, jassids,

thrips, whitefly, bollworms, stem borers, leaf folders etc in cotton and paddy crops.

Buprodan, 25% SCformulation of Buprofezin, is an insecticide for the control of one of themost devastating pests of rice. Besides giving quick control of Brown plant hopper, Buprodan

effectively controls Green Leaf Hoppers and White Back Plant hoppers in Paddy Crop.

Buprodan inhibits the moulting of nymphs & larvae and also controls oviposition in adult

hoppers and thereby reducing the damage of hoppers within 3-5 days after application.

Camry, 5% SGformulation of Emamectin Benzoate is a new generation insecticide derived

from fungusStreptomyces avermitilis. Camry is very effective for the control of wide variety of

lepidopteran and sucking pests in various crops like Pulses, Vegetables, Grapes and Cotton.

Camry works via contact as well as translaminar action to effectively control the insect pests

within 2 hours of application and completely kills the insects within 2-4 days. Camry provideslong duration control of insects thereby reducing number of applications. Camry is safe to users

and natural enemies and therefore, fits very well into IPM module.

Pounce, 20% SPformulation of Acetamiprid is an insecticide for control of various insect pests

in Cotton crop. Belonging to neonicotinoid group, Pounce gives excellent control on sucking

pests of Cotton. Pounce provides effective control of Jassids, Aphids and Whitefly. Pounce is

found effective in controlling Eggs, Nymphs and Adults of all major sucking pests which

damage the cotton crop and reduce the yield. Pounce can be effective used as a tank mix partner

with Talstar for quicker knockdown and long residual control of sucking pests in cotton.

Novastaris an insecticide based on the active ingredient Imidacloprid 17.8% in SL formulation.

Novastar belongs to neonicotinoid group of insecticides. Novastar is both a contact and systemic

insecticide which gives very effective control of sucking pests in various crops like Cotton, Rice,

oilseeds, Fruits & Vegetables and Termites in Sugarcane.

HERBICIDES

AFFINITY, 40 DFof Carfentrazone, belongs to a novel class of chemistry, the aryl

triazolinones, which provides best in class control of broad leaf weeds by inhibiting the

Protoporyphyrinogen Oxidase (PPO) enzyme in the target weeds. This green chemistry is highly

lethal to the target weeds and provides quick knockdown of the target weeds. Acting as a post-emergent herbicide for Wheat crop, Affinity acts on the cell membrane resulting in the

immediate collapse of the target weeds.

Fiesta, 50 % ECformulation of Pretilachlor, is a broad spectrum pre-emergence herbicide forpaddy crop. Fiesta 50 EC has excellent action against annual grasses, sedges and broad leaf

weeds of rice and is highly selective to paddy.

Being a shoot inhibitor, Fiesta 50 EC disrupts protein synthesis, cell division and weakens cell

membrane of weed seedling, resulting into death of weed plants prior to their emergence. One of

the most commonly applied rice herbicide molecule in India, Fiesta provides long duration of

control for common weeds of rice.

FUNGICIDES:

Fungicides are the chemical which are used to prevent or cure the fungal diseases

which adversely affects the plant health, yield and quality of produce. Of late, the

incidence of fungal diseases are increasing in different crops because of climatic

conditions, use of high yielding varieties and lack of awareness amongst the growers.

Furazole, Addit, and Tebustarare the leading FMC brands available in the Indian

market.

FurazoleRice blast is one of the most dreaded diseases of rice worldwide. In Rice blast incidence is seen

right from the nurseries. In the main field, blast incidence is observed in different stages of rice

growth and is called as Leaf Blast, Neck blast, Node Blast and Panicle Blast.

Furazole is a systemic blasticide and can be applied to the rice crop as a prophylactic or a

curative spray. Furazole is a Melanin Biosynthesis Inhibitor and arrests mycelial growth, conidia

germination and appressoria formation. Furazole controls all the stages of blast in the main

field and can also be used in nurseries to control blast. Furazole being systemic is absorbed by

the rice plants immediately after application, thus providing a long residual period of control.

Addit 70% WPformulation of Propineb, is a broad spectrum foliar fungicide with multisite

contact activity used for control of various diseases like apple scab, leaf and fruit spots of

pomegranate, early and late blight of potato, dieback in chili, buck eye rot of tomato, downy

mildew in grapes and brown leaf spot of rice.

Addit is relevant in crops which are sensitive to zinc deficiency such as potato, tomato,

vegetables and rice. Zinc is present in the active ingredient of the Addit, which not only helps in
