Module Aim:
Project Finance and Management deals with the decision of project planning, analysis,selection, financing, Implementation and review. A project manager will be concemed.,vith prc.ject financial and managerial decisions.
Module objectives/ Learning outcomes:
On completion of this module the student will be able to:l. Deflne and explain project finance.2. Understand and apply the sequential steps ofthe project Management.3. Understand and apply the project process of initiating, planning, executing, andappraising financially and economically, controlling and reviewing the project.
:y 4. Analyze the market and demand through technical projections ofthe project5. Understand and examine the project scope, project time and work flow, project costand budgets, project resources, project quality, reports, project changes and project riskmanagement.
Teaching/Learning Approach :
Students will learn through a combination of face-to-face contact and guided study.Personal contact sessions will include Presentations, calculation of major techniques,classroom discussion and the additional work outside the class.
Guided study will include text readings and articles on contemporary issues in ProjectFinance and management which have recently appeared in economic/business journals &newspapefs . Additional material will also be emailed to the students form time to time .

Throughout the teaching/learning process a focus will be maintained on the application oftechniques cunently in use. This will include a survey of the prevalence of use incontemporary economy.
