NCAA TOURNAMENT NOTESNOLES EARN 41st STRAIGHT NCAA APPEARANCE » No. 7 national seed Florida State (43-17) will host

its eighth consecutive NCAA Regional and 20th in the past 22 seasons beginning Friday, June 1.

» The Seminoles are the top seed in the regional and will host 2-seed Mississippi State (31-25), 3-seed Oklahoma (36-23) and 4-seed Samford (36-24).

» This is Florida State’s 56th regional appearance and 41st consecutive, the longest active streak in college baseball. Head coach Mike Martin has led FSU to the postseason in each of his 39 years as head coach.

NOLES WIN 8th ACC TITLE » Florida State beat 5-seed Louisville 11-8 in 10

innings to win its 8th ACC title since joining the league in 1992.

» It was the third extra-inning ACC title game and first since 2003 (GT def. NC State).

» FSU became the first school since Wake Forest in 1998-99 to win back-to-back league titles. FSU beat 2-seed UNC in 2017.

» FSU beat Virginia and NC State in pool play, Clem-son in the semifinals and Louisville in the Championship game. NC State and Louisville are hosting regionals this weekend, while Louisville is a 2-seed.

catcher Cal Raleigh were named First Team All-ACC in a vote of the leagues coaches.

» Parrish is 5-0 with a 2.47 ERA on the season and 3-0 with a 1.66 ERA over his past five starts.

» Against Miami (4/27), Parrish struck out 13 bat-ters and allowed just four hits in eight innings, beating the Canes 2-0 in his first appearance in the rivalry.

» Parrish was one of four nominees for the Golden Spikes Award Performance of the Week for his game against Miami (8.0 IP, 4 H, 13 K).

» Parrish had 14 strikeouts in a 5-2 com-plete-game win against NC State in the ACC Tournament (5/25). In two games against the No. 9 Wolfpack in a week’s time, Parrish struck out 24 batters in 16.2 innings.
