Manzie followed his Ol' 55 stint with pop groups The Breakers (1979-182) and The Fives (1982). He later worked on television and feature film soundtracks, and after The FJ Holden, moved to Hollywood horror fests such as 1987's The Offspring and 1989's Stepfather 11. He has a relatively short wiki here, albeit with some useful references. Ol' 55, which features prominently in the soundtrack, has a wiki here. There is also a Facebook page here, dedicated to the band and active at time of writing June 2013. The song On the Prowl hit number 14 in May 1976 (i.e. before the release of the film) Glenn Baker, who co-wrote My Right of Way with Manzie, is a well-known pop music historian, journalist, broadcaster and commentator, who has an extensive wiki here. In the commentary track on the film's DVD release, director Michael Thornhill confessed to being culturally illiterate when it came to popular music. He was a music fan, but wasn't a fan of pop music, and as a result employed film critic, writer and film-maker Ken Quinnell as music consultant on the film. This was Holden's debut solo single, released in April 1977, and in May he left Ol' 55, to be followed a month later by Wilbur Wilde, who joined Jo Jo Zep & the Falcons. The flip or "B" side was a track called Chartered Accountant Blues. A number of tracks from the movie have also appeared on various LP and CD compilation albums.

As noted above, On the Prowl had been released as a 45 in 1976:
