Five-day Culture Programme in Hangzhou

Briefing of the program:This Culture Expedition program is designed to make students experience quite different Chinese culture in Hangzhou,Zhejiang, the breath-taking Beauty and deep traditional culture up here. It includes primary school visit; West Lake cruise, Biking along the pictureque causeway, Learn Tie-Dye techinics in China National Silk museum, do traditional pottery art, Seal-Carving, learn Magic and Kungfu, Hiking along the Causeways under sunset, and also learn tea making in traditional tea garden as well as final Disco Gala. Pretty fulfilling cultural immersion with fun outdoor activities.

Day 1 Nov.1st HK-Hangzhou (D)Activities: West Lake Cruise

14:30 Pick up at the airport and transfer to downtown17:00 Transfer to the pier and take a cruise around the west lake.(3 cruises or 1 cruise, 50mins)18:00 dinner at local restaurant19:30 Hotel Check-in.

3 groups together!

Day 2 Nov 2nd Hangzhou(B/L/D)

Activities:Taiji or Kongfu,Tea museum visit, Tea farm visit and Hiking for 3.5hrs approx. from Tea farm to Bamboo forest. Magic learning in the evening

6:30 Get up early this morning7:00-8:30 transfer to Xihutiandi to doTaiji or Kungfu learning with professional coaches by the lakeshore for 1hr , and transfer back to Hotel at 8:30 9:00 Breakfast10:00Transfer to the Tea museum and Visit the tea museum and get an idea of the tea culture of China12:00 Taste the Longjing tea and visit a traditional tea farmer house, know the way of making tea13:00 Approx.3.5 hrs Hiking around Tea Garden area, with picnic lunch on the way. Longjing villiage to Bamboo forest ,enjoy the tranquil atmosphere that surrounded by diverse flora 17:00 transfer back to hotel and have a rest18:30 Buffet dinner at the hotel19:30 Learning Magic with magician, everyone is supposed to learn 3 different little tricks with their own props(about 1hour). 3 groups together!

Day 3 Nov.3rd Hangzhou (B/L/D)

Activities: School visit, Seal-Carving, biking. Causeway walk. Sports activities in the evening

8:00 Breakfast9:00 Group A will do Biking in Xixi wetland park. Learn Seal carving (1 hr) and make one on our own.

Group B will do this on Day 5

Group C will do this on Day 412:30 Lunch at restaurant.14:00 Primary School Visit. Chat,having lessons and do some sports with them. (2hrs)16:30 Transfer to Su Causeway to do a leisure walk along West Lake for about 40mins.17:30 transfer to a local restaurant to have dinner. 19:00-21:00 Transfer to a indoor sport center to do activities.21:00 Transfer back to the hotel and have rest.

Day 4 Nov.4th Hangzhou (B/L)

Activities: China National Silk Museum, Tie-Dye, shopping and Disco night

8:00 Breakfast 9:00 Group A will Visit China National Silk Museum China National Silk Museum is the first state-level professional silk museum in China as well as the biggest silk museum throughout the world.

Learn traditional Tie-Dye technique and do it yourself(about 1hour). Group B will do this on Day 3

Group C will do this on Day 5

12:00 Transfer to Hefang street to have lunch on their own, (McDonald, KFC, Hot Dog of Diary Queen and Donuts)

Whole afternoon Shpping at Hefang Street, kind of old street of China that is full of small stores of souvenirs and hand crafts. Also snacks and local delicacies.18:00 Final Buffet Dinner at hotel. 19:30-21:30 Disco night at hotel

Day 5 Nov 5 th Hangzhou/HK (B/L)

Activities: Pottery Art Making. Transfer to the airport

08:00 Breakfast and check out the hotel.09:00 Group A will arrive Southern Song Dynasty Guan Kiln Museum It is built over the remains of Jiaotanxia Guan Kiln and is the first museum with pottery and porcelain as its subject in China.. Now the museum displays the products of the guan kilns of Southern Song Dynasty, highlighting their charm and delicate beauty.

Doing pottery yourself at Pottery Bar and also plate Painting(2 hrs) Group B will do this on Day 4

Group C will do this on Day 3

12:00 Light Lunch13:00 Transfer to the airport and flight back home
