Welcome to the Fit Families FITPASS 2019! Sponsored by Healthy Kids Club, UCHealth, this program is designed to keep families moving and active during the summer months. Challenge your family to try new activities throughout the summer and to be more active together!

FITPASS 2019How it works

• You must show your FITPASS membership card or mention it when you register for events to receive the discounted rates/deals.

• The FITPASS will cover the number of people registered in your family (displayed on the front of your card). If you have additional guests, you will need to pay full price.

• Admission is based on capacity and cannot be guaranteed.

• At the end of the program, you will be emailed a survey link to provide information about your family’s usage and feedback. If you complete the survey by Aug. 31, you will be entered into the Fit Families prize drawing.

• Please note many venues do not allow pets.

• New this year: Your family will use the FITPASS membership card to receive the discounted rates. No need to bring this booklet with you to the participating venues.

Spend an evening cozy by a campfire complete with stories and s’mores! Suitable for all ages. Dress warmly and bring water to drink. This program includes an easy 2-mile roundtrip hike on a dirt trail to a cabin. The activity begins at 7 p.m., so please allow 30-40 minutes to hike up on your own to meet your guide at the campfire. Healthy Kids Club will be giving out headlamps for the hike back down; bring extra flashlights. No pets.

Maybe you have a family member who has been a fly fishing angler, but you are afraid to ask them to teach you. Or, do you have a friend or spouse who has shown interest in learning to fly fish? Well, you are in luck. GEAR Colorado Fly Fishing offers Introduction to Fly Fishing classes. The 3-hour course covers the basics of fly fishing. After learning about the gear and correctly rigging a rod, the students get time casting on dry land and one hour of casting on a river. The goal of the Introduction to Fly Fishing is to help you make the decision whether to pursue this sport or not. No pets.

Healthy Kids Club (HKC) is a community health program sponsored by UCHealth to promote health and physical activity among elementary age children. Since 1998, HKC has been partnering with schools and community organizations to improve the health and wellbeing of all children in northern Colorado.
