Getting Involved Whether you’re living on or off-campus, studying liberal arts or
engineering, extroverted or introverted, athletic or artistic,
there are involvement opportunities for you at USI!
Participation in clubs, student organizations, and on-campus
activities will enhance your USI experience!
Apply to be an Emerging Leader!
The Emerging Leaders program offers freshmen students the opportunity to develop
new leadership skills, make new friends, and contribute to their university community. This program focuses on preparing individuals to
succeed and contribute to USI as student leaders in subsequent years.
The Emerging Leaders program begins the spring semester, but applications are out now!

The Edge
Set your radio to 95.7 FM! USI’s campus
radio station plays alternative,
dance and hip-hop.

The Shield is a student publication
established in 1968 at USI.
Students are responsible for all reporting,
writing, photography, editing,
designing, and ad sales.

Activities Programming Board (APB)
APB brings you comedians, movies, kara-
oke, Cookies and Canvas, and works with
many other offices to put on Cinema USI
in addition to providing students with
many other events!

The USI Bucket List suggests experiences that a student should have while on campus throughout his/her collegiate career. Items on the list incorporate USI traditions as well as campus and local events
