OPENING PRAYER:O dearest Mother, please accept this Holy Rosaryfor the five sins committed against your ImmaculateHeart. We promise to live the entire day offeringprayers and sacrifices to console your Heart and toimitate your holy purity in our daily lives. Keep usalways bathed in the light of your Immaculate Heartand make us pleasing to the Triune God. Amen.

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator ofheaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son,our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under PontiusPilate, was crucified; died and was buried. Hedescended into hell; the third day He arose againfrom the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitsat the right hand of God the Father Almighty; fromthence He shall come to judge the living and thedead. THE GOLDEN PRAYERThe Three Lilies in each corner signify purity. The largest lilyrepresents the purity of the Virgin Mary. The two smaller liliessignify her children devoted to her Immaculate Heart.

The Streaming Rays of Light signify the triumph of the VirginMary’s Immaculate Heart in the world and at the hour of aconsecrated soul’s death.

The Golden Initial of the prayer (when seen in color), signifiesthat when a soul practices its personal consecration, the prayerbecomes as precious as gold in the eyes of the Virgin Mary.

The Golden Border surrounding the image and prayer signifiesthe protection the Virgin Mary grants to her children devoted toher Immaculate Heart. The Gold Line surrounds spiritually allconsecrated souls, making it impossible for the desires ofworldly things and the forces of evil to lead them astray.

For Those Who Recite This Prayer DailyThe entire image and prayer reflect the Virgin Mary’s purity, a virtue shewants all her children to practice. Since our Mother is the Queen ofPurity, every offense committed against this virtue hurts her Heart in acruel and painful way. Souls devoted to her Immaculate Heart shouldopenly state that only the pure of heart shall be close to God.

Consecrated souls, in union with all their brothers and sistersthroughout the world, will endeavor to see Jesus present in everyonethey meet. Their daily life will thus become a continuous act of lovefor God and neighbor.

All consecrated souls must practice the following virtues so dear toour Mother’s Immaculate Heart:Purity – Chastity – Humility – Patience – Charity – Obedience

THE FIRST JOYFUL MYSTERYTHE ANNUNCIATION

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, God prepared you tobecome the Mother of His Divine Son by making you full

of grace, immaculate from the firstmoment of your conception.

God sent His messenger fromheaven to ask you to consent tobe the Mother of our Savior.You humbly called yourself thehandmaiden of the Lord, and theplan of redemption began.

Teach us dear Mother, to imitateyour humility, which pleased Godso much. Make us love silence in

our daily lives so we too can hear God speaking to us inour hearts.

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, in charity you traveled toassist your cousin Elizabeth, who was six months withchild. You were the first one to bringthe Good News of Jesus to others.

When Elizabeth heard your sweetvoice, she was filled with the HolySpirit, her baby was sanctified in herwomb, and she called you the mostblessed among women.

Teach us dear Mother, to becharitable to all we meet in our dailylives; to be patient and kind toeveryone without distinction. Makeus love to serve others while we deny ourselves for thesake of imitating you and Jesus.

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, we offer you this decade in reparationfor the sins committed against your perpetual virginity.

CONCLUDING PRAYERS

HAIL HOLY QUEEN, Mother ofMercy, our life, our sweetness andour hope. To thee do we cry,poor banished children of Eve.To thee do we send up oursighs, mourning and weeping inthis valley of tears. Turn then,most gracious advocate, thineeyes of mercy toward us; andafter this, our exile, show unto usthe blessed fruit of thy womb,Jesus. O clement! O loving!O sweet Virgin Mary!

THE THIRD JOYFUL MYSTERYTHE BIRTH OF JESUS

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, in complete detachment youtraveled to Bethlehem to fulfill the prophecy that themessiah would be born in King David’s city. The trip was

filled with much inconveniences,especially when St. Joseph, yourholy and chaste husband, told youthere was no room in the inn.In poor surroundings you bore youronly Son with joy and peace andbecame the Mother of God.

Teach us, dear Mother, to bedetached from the things of theworld and from all things that canhinder our union with Jesus. Let uslove poverty, privations and

inconveniences just as you did. Make us treasure thespiritual meaning of Jesus’ birth and life in our hearts, asyou did with each passing moment of your holy life.

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, we offer you this decade in reparationfor the sins committed against your divine maternity and for thosewho refuse to accept you as Mother of all mankind.

THE FIFTH GLORIOUS MYSTERYTHE CORONATION OF MARY

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, in the eternal splendor ofheaven Jesus crowned you with living light and gave youto us as our heavenly Queen andintercessor.

You are our Queen and Motherforever, and your Immaculate Heart isour refuge that leads us to God.

THE FOURTH GLORIOUS MYSTERYTHE ASSUMPTION OF MARY INTO HEAVEN

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, when your life on earth wascompleted, Jesus took you, body and soul, into the

eternal kingdom of heaven.

What joy filled your ImmaculateHeart when you were re-united withyour Divine Son who told us that,only the pure of heart shall be closeto God.

Teach us, dear Mother, to imitateyour purity of heart and to renounceeverything that can spoil ourbaptismal robe. Make us pure andhumble of heart so that we too can

enjoy the eternal happiness of heaven forever!

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, we offer you this decade in reparationfor the sins of those who try publicly to implant in children’s heartsindifference, contempt and even hatred toward you.

THE FOURTH JOYFUL MYSTERYTHE PRESENTATION OF JESUS IN THE TEMPLE

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, forty days after the birth ofJesus, in obedience to the law of Moses, you went to theTemple with St. Joseph to presentJesus to God and to submit yourselfto the law of Purification. This lawdidn’t apply to you or Jesus, but yousubmitted yourself to it to show ushow obedient you want us to be.

Teach us, dear Mother, true purity ofheart so we can love God more andprove our love for Him by beingobedient to the Magisterium of theChurch. Make us faithfully obey ourHoly Father, the Pope, and allbishops and clergy in union with him.

THE FIFTH JOYFUL MYSTERYTHE FINDING OF JESUS IN THE TEMPLE

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, after three long days, you andSt. Joseph found Jesus in the Temple in the midst of the

teachers of the Jewish Law. Out ofobedience, Jesus returned toNazareth with you and St. Josephand grew in strength and gracebefore God and man.

Teach us, dear Mother, to beobedient to your message ofFatima, where you call us to a moreperfect union with your DivineSon through devotion to yourImmaculate Heart.

THE THIRD GLORIOUS MYSTERYTHE DESCENT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, ten days after the ascensionof Jesus you were gathered in the upper room with theapostles when the Holy Spiritdescended in the form of partedtongues, filling the hearts of thefaithful with the truths of theChristian faith.

You prayed unceasingly for theapostles as they preached the GoodNews of Jesus to men in all lands.

Teach us, dear Mother, to imitate thecharity of the Holy Spirit, who unitesand sanctifies all men who remainopen to His inspiration. Make uslove one another with ardent charity, so that unity andpeace will change our troubled world.

THE SECOND GLORIOUS MYSTERYTHE ASCENSION OF JESUS INTO HEAVEN

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, forty days after His gloriousresurrection, Jesus ascended into heaven in the presence

of you and His apostles. You thenreturned to Jerusalem and began topray for the Christian Church,offering your prayers and sacrificesfor its spiritual growth.

In your Immaculate Heart, youtreasured all the memories of yourSon and hoped for the day whenyou would be united with Himforever.

Teach us, dear Mother, to imitateyour hope as we follow your Son in this valley of tears.Make us long for the joys of heaven.

THE FIRST LUMINOUS MYSTERYTHE BAPTISM OF JESUS

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, when Jesus was baptized inthe Jordan by Saint John the Baptist, the voice of ourheavenly Father said: You are Mybeloved Son. On You My favor rests.Then the Holy Spirit descended onJesus in the form of a dove.

Teach us, dear Mother, to be open tothe Holy Spirit Who speaks to us inthe silence of our hearts, so we canbe filled with light and grace anddo the Father’s will in all things.Make us faithful to our baptismalpromises to love God and to serveHim in others.

THE FIRST GLORIOUS MYSTERYTHE RESURRECTION OF JESUS

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, three days after His death,Jesus rose from the dead all radiant with power and glory.You did not go to the tomb on Eastermorning with the other women butwaited faithfully for Jesus to rise asHe said He would.

What joy filled your ImmaculateHeart when Jesus appeared to youin the silence of your home!

Teach us, dear Mother, to imitateyour lively faith in the Risen Lord.Make us deepen our faith in your Sonby living an authentic Christian life.


THE SECOND LUMINOUS MYSTERYTHE WEDDING AT CANA

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, at the wedding feast at Canayou noticed the wedding party needed help and youasked your beloved Son for His grace. You told the

attendants at the banquet, Dowhatever He tells you, which showsus how powerful your intercessionis with your Divine Son. Jesusperformed the first of His miraclesand changed common water intochoice wine astonishing those whowitnessed the event which enabledHis disciples to believe in Him.

Teach us, dear Mother, to becomegreat disciples and believers in yourSon. Make us always pray for

assistance from Jesus and you in all our needs andconcerns, trusting that our prayers will be answered inaccord with the will of God.

THE FIFTH SORROWFUL MYSTERYTHE CRUCIFIXION

O Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, your Heartwas pierced with the most painful sword of sorrow as yousaw Jesus brutally nailed to the Cross where His body

became one continuous stream ofblood. From the Cross, Jesus gaveyou to us to be our spiritual Motherand you are always close to thechildren who call out your holyname in joy and in sorrow.

After three long hours of pain, youwatched Jesus die a death ofredemptive love for the salvation ofthe world.

Teach us, dear Mother, to love oneanother as Jesus loves us, so that our love will be proof tothe world that God is Infinite Love. Make us forgive ourbrothers from the heart so peace may reign in us and in theworld.

THE THIRD LUMINOUS MYSTERYANNOUNCEMENT OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, with humility and authority,Jesus proclaimed the Kingdom of God to the entire worldby calling us to reform our lives andto believe in His words.

Teach us, dear Mother, to dailyreform our lives so as to becomecloser to Jesus. Make us turn awayfrom sin by having a great devotionto the Sacrament of Reconciliation,where the Mercy of God is waiting tofill us with light, peace and grace.Make us proclaim the Kingdom ofGod by always praying your HolyRosary and by actively spreading thisprayer throughout the world!

THE FOURTH SORROWFUL MYSTERYJESUS CARRIES HIS CROSS TO CALVARY

O Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, a sword ofsorrow pierced your Heart as you saw your Son weigheddown with the wood of the Crossand suffering terribly with eachpainful step. Oppressed andcondemned, Jesus was led toCalvary while the crowds laughedand mocked Him as a foolish andcrazy man.

Teach us, dear Mother, to be morepatient in our daily life in imitatingthe suffering Christ more faithfully.Make us carry our daily crosses withpatience and love and bring us intothe intimacy of your Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart.

THE FOURTH LUMINOUS MYSTERYTHE TRANSFIGURATION

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, on Mount Tabor, Jesus,together with Moses and Elijah, appeared transfigured toPeter, John and James. The three disciples were lost in the

contemplation of Jesus radiant inglory. From a cloud, the heavenlyFather said: This is My belovedSon...listen to Him.

Teach us, dear Mother, to listen tothe Divine Word of Jesus in HisGospels which teaches us how tolive a holy life on earth so we canlive in heaven with you and yourDivine Son forever. Make us daily fixour gaze on the radiant Holy Face ofJesus, shining in all His glory on

Mount Tabor, Who is the way, the truth and the life!

THE THIRD SORROWFUL MYSTERYTHE CROWNING WITH THORNS

O Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, afterscourging Jesus the soldiers wanted to humiliate Him

even more by mocking Him as aking. O Mother, you saw Jesusbeing crowned with sharp thornsas blood streamed down Hissorrowful face. The soldiersgenuflected before Jesus and spitinto His blood-covered face. Jesusstood in silence offering this bittermystery to the Father for theredemption of mankind.

Teach us, dear Mother, to accept allhumiliations as Jesus did, and let us

grow in the holy virtue of humility. Make us recognize weare but sinful children and that anything good in usbelongs to God, the Author of life.


THE FIFTH LUMINOUS MYSTERYTHE INSTITUTION OF THE HOLY EUCHARIST

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, at the Last Supper, Jesus gaveHimself to us in the Holy Eucharist and promised tobe with us always in this greatsacrament of His love.

Teach us, dear Mother, to have adeep love for Jesus in the HolyEucharist, to receive Him worthily inthe state of grace, to show properreverence to Him in the BlessedSacrament while realizing theimportance of how much Jesusloves us and how much we shouldstrive to love Him every day of ourlives especially as our EucharisticKing! Make us desire to receive Jesus in Holy Communionas often as we can so as to be closely united with Him inlife, and at the hour of our death.

THE FIRST SORROWFUL MYSTERYTHE AGONY IN THE GARDEN

O Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, your DivineSon, in the Garden of Olives, began to suffer Hissorrowful passion. Jesus suffered so much that He prayed

to the Father, If it be possible, takethese sufferings from Me. But let itbe as You, not I, would have it. Hissufferings forced blood to issueforth from His pores.

Even though Jesus’ sufferings werepainful, He accepted the will ofGod and embraced His passion likea silent lamb for the redemption ofthe world.

Teach us, dear Mother, to accept thewill of God in our own lives and to be obedient even untodeath. Make us deny ourselves in small things and lead usto the royal road of Calvary.


THE SECOND SORROWFUL MYSTERYTHE SCOURGING AT THE PILLAR

O Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, your Heartwas nearly broken when you heard Pontius Pilate givethe order to have Jesus scourgedat the pillar. Your eyes saw Jesushumiliated when the soldiersstripped off His clothes andscourged Him till His body drippedwith blood.

Teach us, dear Mother, to mortifyour senses and to lead pure andchaste lives for the glory of your Son.Make us understand all that Jesussuffered for love of us and help usto love Him with undividedhearts.
