my church family when I am home for holidays.
Love,

The Answer to “What’s Next”
I will be calling our Lay-Leadership/Nominating Team
together very soon. I will be encouraging our team to select
leaders
based on “one” primary quality.
Can they successfully bring another person or family
to worship at First United Methodist
Church?
Our Greatest need at First United
Methodist Church
in the next three years is more people.
Our Goal is 25 more people in Worship by the end of 2018.
I can’t say this strong enough,
“this is our only key to a dy-namic future”
Please join me in Inviting others
to be apart of this most amazing Church that we know to be
First United Methodist
Disciple Fast Track: a 12 week course which will take
an intriguing look at the first two books of the Bible.
There are no prerequisites to join this class and the
study will be led by Hunter Lindblom and Micheal Ard.
The first meeting is September 10th at 6:00 in the
Alice Lee Room. Don’t miss an opportunity to be a part
of this great time of growth and fellowship!
This fall, starting August 12th, we will be offering
Sunday Evening opportunities for all age groups. All
ages are invited to gather together in the newly
renovated Norman Barnett Hall for a light supper at
5:00, then Bill will lead a study for adults and children
and youth will have their own activities. Nursery will
also be offered for babies and toddlers.
Make plans to join us!
