THE ADVERTISER WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2014 15

A TRAFFORD Park-based security business is boom-

ing after taking on some high profile clients.

ExcluSec Security Solu-tions was formed four years ago by James Ban-croft, and he says it has established a reputation for providing a range of services.

He said: “When I estab-lished this business I didn’t want it to become just another ‘security company’, but one that focused on delivering exceptional customer service provided by qual-ity handpicked staff.

“Our services are also

based on building close, long lasting relationships with our clients, some-thing which I feel is lack-ing with the majority of security companies.

“Over the past 12 months our workload has doubled but we are not sitting back on our laurels

and I have invested heav-ily over the years in secur-ing the long-term future of ExcluSec.”

The company has worked with boyband Union J, Olly Murs and footballer Yaya Toure, and its clients include The Trafford Centre, EventC-

ity, Cancer Research UK, Bolton Council, Salford City Council and The Mere Golf Resort and Spa.

Despite the fact that the company is based in Traf-ford Park – and James is a United fan – its logo is a blue moon, a symbol that has become associated with Manchester City.

James said: “To be hon-est I’m not that much of a football fan and the ‘blue moon’ logo, as it has become known amongst some members of the staff, started life as some-thing quite different before inadvertently becoming what it is today.

“But I really don’t mind. It certainly has a distinct Mancunian look to it and people always comment on it so it must be work-ing!”

A DJ who suffers from tinnitus has taken part in a 48-hour sponsored silence to raise money for a deafness charity.

Eddie Leader, from West Didsbury, stayed silent over the weekend for Action on Hearing Loss.

The 32-year-old, who set up the Hudd Traxx music label, has suffered from a non-stop ringing in

his ears after forgetting to wear earplugs once when DJ-ing in 2009.

He said he took on the sponsored silence to warn clubbers to look after their hearing ‘before it’s too late’.

He added: “When you’re young you think you’re invincible, but trust me, clubs set the sound levels way too high and you really need to be

wearing protection, custom-made if you can.”

Eddie produced a track with his friend Hector Moralez throughout the weekend – done without talking to each other.

It will be released as a download to help raise cash.
