Cut out and laminate the hands (one for each child) and the target slips below. Every childstarts with the target of including ‘finger spaces’ in their writing, but as they progress theadditional target slips can be added to their individual hand (using Velcro).

Left-handed children can even use their laminated hand (rather than their right hand) forfinger spaces as this is easier and avoids hands crossing over and getting in a tangle!!!
