SHOULDER SHRUGS
SHOULDER SHRUGS
Shrug your shoulders forward.Shrug your shoulders backward.
CROCODILE SNAPS
CROCODILE SNAPS
Open your arms wide like a crocodile mouth. One arm above your head, the
other straight down one side of your body.
Close your arms and bring them together in front of you with a big snap, like a
crocodile closing its mouth.

Bend your elbows and make your hands into a fist in front of your shoulders.
Straighten one arm out in front and then bend it back towards your shoulder, alternating each arm.
Bonus movement: As one arm straightens in front, straighten the other arm out to the side of the
body. Alternate movements between each arm.
BUTTERFLIES
BUTTERFLIES
Begin with your arms straight out in front of your body.
Turn the inside of your hands toward you and form an “x” with your thumbs.
Make circles in the air with your arms, moving from the shoulder.
Alternative: Have the hands facing out, away from the body and
form an “x” with the thumbs.
CHAIR PUSH-UPS
Sit up straight in your chair with your hands gripping the sides
of the chair. Place your thumbs facing forwards and fingers
pressing against the underside of the chair.
Using your arms, push your bottom up from your chair, with your feet coming off of the floor.
DESK PUSH-UPS
Put your hands flat on your desk. Place the tips of your
thumbs and index finger facing each other to create a triangle.
Bend your elbows to bring your nose towards the triangle and
then push with your arms to straighten your elbows again.
PUT ON IMAGINARY GLOVES
PUT ON IMAGINARY GLOVES
Pretend to pull on gloves or mittens, placing firm pressure to
the fingers and back of each hand.
SPIDER PUSH-UPS
SPIDER PUSH-UPS
Place the tips of your fingers together and bend and straighten your fingers while
pushing the tips against each other.
PENCIL OLYMPICS
PENCIL OLYMPICS
Twirl your pencil like a baton, twirling it horizontally and vertically.
INCHWORM
Using a tripod (3 finger) grasp, move your fingers along the pencil from one end to the other. Don’t use your other
hand to help support the pencil. Switch to your non-dominate
hand and do it again.
PIANO FINGERS
Drum your fingers on a desk or flat surface like you are playing
a piano. Make sure each of your finger tips touch the desk.
