Fresh foods are a big part in Italian foods. Fresh fruits are often
served as desserts. In the middle ages, Italy introduced fresh
fruits and vegetables in their diet. Also, Italy has the largest
variety of grapes. Housewives only pick fresh foods to use in
their meals.
For Christmas, Italians usually eat spaggetti with baked clams as
a main dish. Each dish is always made by hand. After the meal,
sparkling, bubbly wine always follows.
