max. 100 points Those points will be added up (max. 300 points) and

divided by 3. Your excessive absences (-1 point per 2 absences above your 3 excused absences) will be subtracted, and your max. 4 extra credit points added. If your grade is borderline (69.0-69.4, 79.0-79.4, 89.0-89.4), and you have been participating actively in class discussions, your grade can be boosted to the higher grade. (.5-.9 scores are automatically rounded up.)
