User googles “issue books from IITB Library” opens the first links and lands up at some unknown website. “iitblibrary.wordpress.com”
Users find it difficult to understand “OPAC” search. They keep looking for “book” search and choose book search(OPAC) only after they pause a little on “opac search”
Information given in front of books seems “confusing” and users tend to
click the book icon which has no action assigned.
When the user searches for the same author in normal search, he gets the results. When he tries the same in complex search he doesnt.
users don’t get what the numbers in the pop up window are, as to what theymean book no. or stack no. etc…
When the user types , “7 secrets…” , 7 is not searched but only secrets,…etc are.So, he again types- S<E<V<E<N.
After entering details, and logging in, page is redirected to Central Library’s home page. And it’s not clear whether user is logged in or not.
