Welcome to Corrosion Technology Week 2015Welcome to Corrosion Technology Week (CTW) 2015! This is the annual “work week” sponsored by the Technical Coordination Committee (TCC) of NACE In-ternational. Its purpose is to provide a series of technical committee meetings fo-cusing on various methods of identifying, preventing, and combating corrosion problems in many industries.

NACE members use these meetings to share technical knowledge about specific corrosion problems and their prevention and control, write and review proposed industry standards and technical committee reports, and plan future committee goals and activities.

While much committee work is now conducted online, CTW is still the venue that affords members a great opportunity to progress technical committee documents in a face-to-face environment and network with corrosion peers. We welcome and appreciate your participation!

NACE International publishes three classes of standards: standard practices, standard material requirements, and standard test methods. Until June 23, 2006, NACE published standard recommended practices, but the designation of this type of standard was changed to simply standard practice. New standards published after that date carry the new designation (SP), and existing standards are changed as they are revised or reaffirmed. Previously published standard recommended practices include the old designation below the new one, e.g., SP0592-2006 (formerly RP0592).
