Final Portfolio Reflection Overall I am very proud of my portfolio for English 1102. When we first received the portfolio assignment, I right away thought of my English 1101 portfolio and remembered how difficult it was and how much time I spent doing it at the end of the semester. Luckily having these portfolio checkpoints through the semester has made this entire process so much easier than 1101. I honestly think that most of my portfolio was a strength in this assignment seeing that I think every main page has good content in it. If I were to choose a weakness it would honestly just be picking homework assignments to go into the homework category because I didn’t save the assignments like I should have. I did think though that my choices in the end were very strong and I think the reflections for each assignment accurately reflected how each individual assignment went from me. This portfolio taught me a lot. First off it actually gave me a lot more confidence in my writing because while now I think I’m a fairly strong writer, in the beginning of the course, I didn’t have much confidence and I would often let writing intimidate me, but now looking back at this work I’m really happy with what has been done this semester. This portfolio has also taught me how to actually become a better writer, through different types of assignments. I can say with each of the major assignments in this course that I have never actually done an assignment like any of them, especially Assignments 1 and 2. Through these new writing experiences, it has broadened my writing spectrum thus making me a better overall writer in my opinion. The assignments have also taught me how to work with groups to help better writing with the workshops. As I’ve mentioned in earlier assignments, my previous workshops have not been very successful before this class so now that we have done these workshops the correct way, I now see how truly helpful this group workshop is. I think the assignment that taught me the most was Assignment 2. Assignment 2 was so unlike any other writing assignment I’ve completed

Final Portfolio Reflection

Overall I am very proud of my portfolio for English 1102. Assignment 2 was so unlike any other writing assignment I’ve completed before, so completing it really let me know I can do any kind of writing, which is a pretty good feeling.

Now when navigating my portfolio, the viewer shouldn’t have any trouble finding the necessary elements for the portfolio. This first page you are on now has my intro to the portfolio as well as a picture of my car, just because its my most prized possession! On the second page of the portfolio are my homework responses. I have each of the homework assignments alongside a reflection for each. I think the most important page on the portfolio is page three which has my major assignments listed here. The homework assignments are important but this is where I would recommend stopping and taking a look at things. I’m very happy with how all of these assignments have come out and I think they really show my writing ability. The video on this page for assignment 3 is definitely a good place to stop and watch because it is pretty entertaining if I might say!
