Lighthouse can offer Various sets of Filter Efficiently Test equipment. HEPA & ULPA filters are installed in many Clean environments and process applications, and the method for testing them is well recognised in the ISO14644-3 standard and followed across the world. An aerosol generator is used to produce an oil aerosol that is introduced into the airstream that is going to pass through the HEPA/ULPA filter media to be tested, and a Particle Counter or Aerosol Photometer is used to measure the amount of aerosol upstream and downstream of the filter. The result gives the performance of the HEPA/ULPA filter reported and identifies if any leaks are present in the frame, seals or media. Generation of a PSL aerosol at the MPPS of the filter media is required for testing according to EN1822.
