The conceptIn front of approximately 800 corporate guests enjoying a three-course black tie dinner, a team of 8-10 competitors from Cavendish Maxwell will take on a combined team of other leading property professionals in the region’s first intercompany property white collar style boxing event.
The competitorsEach competitor will complete an intense nine week training programme under the supervision of professional boxing coaches led by head trainer Zack Taumafai in his KO Gym in Dubai Marina.
The guestsAll guests will enjoy reception drinks from 6.30pm, a three-course dinner and drinks, approximately 8-10 bouts of boxing, DJs and after party.
The boutsEach bout is a major test of skill, stamina and commitment, fought to established boxing rules under the supervision of an experienced referee.
Each competitor will compete in three two-minute rounds with head guards being compulsory. Each contestant will enter the JW Marriott Marquis ballroom in true Vegas-style with their entourage of corner men, trainers, sponsors, ring girls, bodyguards and music of their choice.
The competitor’s packageTrainingTraining will commence on Saturday 29 August 2015. Competitors will be required to attend six group training sessions per week (one morning and one evening session three days a week) for nine weeks.
Morning: 6.00 - 7.00amEvening: 6.30 - 8.00pm or 8.00 - 9.30pm
Medical careFitness levels and certain other factors, such as blood pressure and hydration levels will be monitored throughout the training.
Nutritional adviceCompetitors will be able to discuss diets and supplements, if desired, to maximise fitness levels.
EquipmentAll fight night apparel, gloves and protective gear will be provided, excluding footwear and groin guards.
Media and PRCompetitors may be requested to attend certain media events, and names and images may be used in press and promotional material. If you have any objection to this, please let us know in writing at the time of submitting the signed contract.
Fight Night: Your boutYou will compete against an equally matched opponent and be awarded a commemorative trophy to celebrate your participation, together with a DVD of the night. Judges will decide a winner.
Cost of participationSell two tables or get your company to sponsor you and it’s free!There are two options available for participants:
Option 1: Unsponsored Boxer 5,000 AED participation feeThis price covers 9 weeks’ training (6 sessions per week), fight night apparel, boxing gloves, medical team and ambulance (hopefully not needed!), trophies, ring girls, event team, event programme with your profile, mini profile video about you, photography and DVD. In the event a boxer sells two tables, the 5,000 AED fee will be refunded. Start calling your friends! Each table seats 10 guests and includes reception drinks, three-course dinner* and drinks throughout the evening.**

Option 2: Sponsored BoxerIf your company sponsors the event, your participation fee will be returned.
