The Fieldtrac tractors set new standards for the way

small tractors and implements work together. The

world-class Fieldtrac 180 D, Fieldtrac 224 D and Fieldtrac

270 D, packed with 18.5, 22 & 24 HP engines

respectively, provide unmatched power and outstanding

fuel economy. Best-in-class horsepower, combined with

ideal weight distribution, enables these tractors to

transfer maximum power to the ground.

The 4 Wheel Drive (4WD) feature provides extra traction in order to pull through slippery spots or climb up an

incline. The selection of drive depending on the operation can be obtained through a lever conveniently placed

on the left side of the operator. These tractors are ideal for tilling, ploughing, puddling or even hydraulic

booming, and can also be used with attachments like Front-end Loader, Back-hoe, Grass Cutter, Baler, Sprayer

and Trailer.

Due to its size and compactness, these tractors, in addition to being used in agricultural fields, are very popular

in vineyards, orchards, hobby farming, cotton cultivation, inter-culture operations, horticulture and in all such

places where large tractors cannot work.

Heavy Duty 4WD Front Axle

Live Front Axle And Steering

Four Wheel Drive is a practical choice when more traction is

required. The drive to the front axle is through transmission. It can

be engaged and disengaged with the help of a lever provided on

the left side of the operator.

While the Fieldtrac 180 D and 224 D tractors house cutting-edge K3C

and V3D three-cylinder engines respectively, the Fieldtrac 270 D is

armed with the super-powered V4D1 four-cylinder engine. These

long stroke, water cooled diesel engines are absolute powerhouses.

These engines are naturally aspirated and have opposed

manifolds-intake on the right side and the exhaust on the left to

permit obstruction-free air intake and exhaust passages. The swirl

type combustion chamber design provides improved combustion

efficiency and high fuel economy in the three-cylinder engines,

while the V4D1 engine features an indirect injection type combustion

chamber. Cylinder head valves are large in size, with chamfered

seats for leakproof seating. Piston rings are chrome plated for low

friction and longer life. The crankshaft is supported by four

bearings which are well balanced and run smoothly without any

vibration.

These intricately crafted engines are designed specifically for

rugged applications, with a unique long stroke design known for

developing high torque at low engine rpm. As a result, tyres and

transmission components last longer, with increased fuel efficiency,

while operation becomes less demanding and more productive.

High Level Performance

BOSCH Fuel Injection Pump

The engines are fitted with the trusted BOSCH

Inline Cartridge type Fuel Pump, renowned for

fuel economy which significantly improves fuel

efficiency. These engines are environment

friendly too. Glow Plugs are provided for quick

start in cold climate and an electrical cut-off

switch for easy engine shut-off is also featured.

Dual Speed PowerTake Off (PTO)Transmission with Two Speed PTO is suitable for a range of

operations. Selection of speed can be achieved with just the push of

a lever for maximum convenience.

The main PTO is equipped with an overriding clutch to prevent

reverse flow of drive into the transmission from the working

implement.

Safety First

A protective shield is provided on the PTO shaft as a safety measure.

Concealed type shoe brakes are internally expanding and are waterproof, they provide instant stoppage during haulage.

Independent brake pedals are provided on the right side of the operator. For road safety, these brake pedals can be latched together for haulage operations.

Fieldtrac 270 D : 588 & 2700 rpm @ 3000 rpm.

Standard PTO : 540 & 1000 rpm @ 2350 rpm.
