Over the past 75 years, stadler has been able to serve all market segments with high quality, state-of-the-art products. We offer a compre-hensive range of vehicles in the heavy rail and urban transport segments: high-speed trains, intercity trains, regional and rapid suburban commuter rail trains, underground trains, tram trains and trams. stadler also manufactures mainline locomotives, shunting locomotives and passenger carriages. and we never for-get where stadler started out: the tailor Made sector is another important market segment in which we have grown considerably on a global scale and we remain the world’s leading manu-facturer of rack-and-pinion rail vehicles.
Over the next 75 years, we will continue to ded-icate ourselves every day to further developing our trains and maximising passenger com-fort. the stadler team has grown to more than 7000 employees – more than 7000 people who all share the same passion: putting the best possible vehicles for our clients on the track.
it fi lls us with great pride that this year, we are not only celebrating our 75th anniversary, but also the roll-out of the ec250 – the world’s fi rst serial produced low-fl oor high-speed multiple unit. the train, christened giruno by sBB, will operate through the longest train tunnel in the world and connect frankfurt and Milan in
record time. it is equipped with three differ-ent electrifi cation systems and has been ap-proved for service in four countries. stadler needed just 23 months between receiving the order from sBB and presenting a 5-car train at the innotrans in Berlin. that is High speed by stadler!
But stadler is more than just fast: our reli-ability, punctuality and effi cient implementa-tion are what truly set us apart, and we place particular emphasis on being a strong partner our clients can count on. there’s no such thing as “no can do”: our engineers and designers take all clients’ requests seriously and make anything possible. the result is one-of-a-kind rail vehicles.
With 11 production locations and more than 20 service locations, stadler is at home through-out the world. Having sold over 6000 railway vehicles, we bring state-of-the-art technology to the tracks, for our clients and for millions of passengers around the world.
