She made me a beautiful handmade collage with pictures of all of us at various stages of my life. The collage had some beautiful lines on life written all over it. She went to great effort to keep it a secret from me. It was just a few days after her chemotherapy session. She may have had a premonition that she wouldn’t be with me on my 28th birthday.
