  • FederationCares forPeople inNeed• 1 in 8 people in Miami’sJewish communitydepends on Federationand our local partnersfor some form offinancial assistance.

    • 165,000+ kosher mealswere provided last yearto Holocaust survivorsand other seniors inMiami through JewishCommunity Serviceshome-delivery and mealsites programs.

    • $676,000+ inemergency funds wasgranted to 627 familiesaffected by recentdevastating wildfires in Israel.

    • Food, medicine andother essentials weredelivered last year to6,300 people in war-torn Ukraine.

    FederationStrengthensJewishIdentity andEducation• 438 children and youngadults with special needswere welcomed last yearinto inclusive social,educational andrecreational programs.

    • $2 million+ in grants and scholarships areallocated annually to 11 Jewish day schools and 11 congregationalschools in Miami,impacting nearly 5,000 students.

    • Last year, 2,000 youngMiamians traveled to Israelas part of Alexander MussHigh School in Israel,Taglit-Birthright Israel,Diller Teen Fellows, LeoMartin March of the Living,Masa Israel Journey and Onward Israel programs.

    • This past year, 833 at-riskIsraeli students living inyouth villages receivededucational, clinical andsocial services to helpthem succeed in school.

    FederationBuildsJewishCommunity• 5,000 people donate16,000+ hours annuallyto communityorganizations and their clients throughFederation’s JewishVolunteer Center.

    • $6.4 million inHomeland Securitygrants has been securedby Federation’s JewishCommunity RelationsCouncil to helpsafeguard Jewishcommunity institutions.

    • 4,883 French Jewsescaping anti-Semitismin France receivedfinancial and communitysupport afterimmigrating to Israel this past year.

    Federation EncouragesInnovation• Hundreds of students in Miami’s Jewish dayschools and Jewish community centers (JCCs) are learning from Israel’s innovators through theMiami-Yerucham Partnership Robotics Program.

    • A new Tzofim (Israeli Scouts) chapter at theMichael-Ann Russell JCC helps Hebrew-speakingchildren of Israelis in Miami strengthen their Jewishidentity and maintain a connection to Israel.

    • The Venezuela Support Campaign is raisingfunds in partnership with Miami-based Friends ofYajad to assist the people of Venezuela during this current crisis. 

    • The Women’s Amutot Initiative in Israel fundsnon-governmental organizations that encouragewomen and girls and work to effect societalchange.

    • The Women’s Impact Initiative in Miami makesgrants annually to organizations empoweringJewish women and girls to combat social,economic, religious and political issues.
