Scrip ChangeScrip will be sold at the Parish office each week on Monday, Wednesday, and

Thursday from 9am-4pm.

If you place your order online or send in an order form to school with payment,

available Scrip will be sent home and out of stock items will be ordered (orders

are placed each Monday before noon) and sent home when received.

You can sign up with PrestoPay online, which allows for you to purchase

ScripNow and print it off instantly. It only takes a few minutes to set up and

will save you so much time later. Remember that family members (even those

out of state) can sign up under your family account to help you toward your

Scrip requirement and help you earn your rebate.

As soon as you hit your $1000 in sales, you earn back 50% of your

rebate as a tuition credit!

Vote for our videos!St. Mary 7th and 8th graders are concluding an awesome video collaboration

projectin their math classes! The teams had to work together to solve challenging math problemsthoroughly explain their steps, and work collaboratively to write, film, edit, and upload their videos.

Anyone can go to videochallenge.mathcounts.orgto view all submitted videos on the Math CountsVideo Challenge. Currently, we have 4 uploaded to the site with two more to be added later this week.Each computer can vote for each video once a day. The more votes a video gets, the better

chance we have at winning. Please help us by voting every day! :)

St. Mary student videos currently eligible for voting are:

7th = Cooking with Gustavo8th = Gregory's Night, Book Lovers, and Channel 49 News.

Participants have the chance to win a $25 Amazon card in a weekly drawing. The top 4 groups win anall expense paid trip to Orlando, Florida in May to attend the Math Counts NationalChampionship where the winning video will be announced. School Mass will be celebrated by the 5th graders on Ash Wednesday at8:45 a.m., NOT Thursday please make sure students come to school inMass attire.Confirmation Session is Sunday March 2, 9:30-11:30. Confirmation retreat forms went homewith students last week. Please complete the forms and return to school or the ConfirmationSession this weekend along with the $20.00 fee, checks can be made payable to St. Mary, cash is

always welcomed.

First Communion parent meeting with Father Jim and Mrs. Amos March 2 at 1:30in the church,students are not required but are welcome. At least one parent or guardian must attend.

Can we meet our school-wide

goal of reading 40,000 pages?

YES WE CAN!Beginning March 3 March 28, our entire school will participate in March Reading

Month. Our goal will be 40,000 pages.

During the month, classes will be asked to submit a short persuasive essay, to Mrs.

Stager, on what she should do if the school meets our goal of 40,000 pages.

Mrs. Stager will review all essays submitted, and the class and/or individual who

submits the most convincing essay will win. Of course, the subject must remainpractical. Mrs. Stager will not jump out of an airplane!

Your homeroom teacher will instruct you on when you should begin your short essay,

however, all are due by Friday, March 28.
