Our 50 th Anniversary Year has passed after lots of hard work by our various committees. At this point, we are still wrapping up with the following: • The 50 th Anniversary Church Directory is now available and can be picked up at the church during fellowship hours or in the church office. Many, many thanks go out to Maria Decoulos for all her hard work getting the directory put together for distribution. As always, Maria, JOB WELL DONE! • Keranie Theodosiou has finished the final phase of the Oral History Documentary. The first showing has not yet been scheduled, but will be soon. We are also hoping to have copies of the Oral History available for those who wish to purchase one for their homes. • The Goyans and their advisors, Daphne and Leto, are working on the Time Capsule which will include information of our past 50 years and the events which took place to celebrate this banner year for our church. • Also, the keepsakes of our church which have been on sale during 2014, will still be available in the church office for all who wish to purchase one for themselves and/or their families members who have grown up worshiping at St. Nicholas. • In my report last month, I wrote up an outline of our church’s history as it appears on the Time Line Display. I received some feedback from a few members who enjoyed reading this condensed version. I hope that many of you had a chance to do so, as well. I want to add two more names of people who were instrumental in helping me get through the daunting task of pulling it together, they are: Elena Proakis Ellis who helped me gather and have printed 300 photos for our displays and Daphne Zervoglos Barbas who kept me going through the early stages in planning this project.
