LEA, MN CITY CODE (ZONING ORDINANCE) REGARDING ZONING FOR THE ALBERT LEA MUNICPAL AIRPORT
The City Council of the City of Albert Lea, will hold a public hearing on December 10, 2012 regarding Airport Zoning The public hearing will be at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 221 E. Clark Street, Albert Lea, MN.The purpose of the public hearing is to allow public comment on proposed changes to the Airport Zoning Ordinance which is incorporated into Chapter 74 of the City Code (Zoning Ordinance) beginning with Division 16, Section 74-831. Amendments to this ordinance are required because the north/south runway (17/35) has been extended from 4,500 feet to 5,000 feet and moved to the west of the current runway location. Properties affected by Air Space Obstruction Zoning are limited to the height of a structure at about 150 feet above ground level but not to exceed 1,411 feet above Mean Sea Level. Properties include those in the City of Albert Lea and the following Townships and Sections: Albert Lea; 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 32, 33, 34, 35, and 36. Bancroft; 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, and 35. Bath; 7, 8 ,9, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, and 33. The City Council of the City of Albert Lea, will hold a public hearing on December 10, 2012 regarding Airport Zoning The public hearing will be at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 221 E.
