■ Saying Goodbye…. Thank you Father Bodin for your dedica-
tion, guidance and the love you have for
all the parishioners here at the Churches
of St. Joseph & St. Francis Xavier.
You have shown us how to live our lives
with true love and devotion for Jesus
Christ through your humility and the love
you have shown for the Priesthood. What
a privilege it has been to have you as our
shepherd. Please know that you will be
deeply missed.
May God bless and protect you as you
begin your new assignment.
With our Love and Prayers,
The Churches of St. Joseph &
St. Francis Xavier
■ Peter’s Pence Today we support the Holy Father in his
charitable works. The Peter’s Pence col-
lection is taken up worldwide to support
the most disadvantaged: victims of war,
oppression, and natural disasters and oth-
ers in need of emergency assistance.
Pope Benedict XVI has said, ―It is neces-
sary above all that every person be moti-
vated by the authentic spirit of
peace” (Homily, Jan.1, 2011). Cast the
peace of Christ upon the world—please
be generous in today’s Collection.
■ Next Week we will Welcome our
new Pastor Father Frank Wampach
July 1, 2011 Father Wampach begins his
new assignment at our parishes. He has
served as a pastor at Immaculate Concep-
tion in Watertown since 1997. He previ-
ously served at St. Mary in Bellechester,
St. Paul in Zumbrota, Guardian Angels in
Oakdale and St. Vincent de Paul in
Brooklyn Park. Please welcome him next
weekend as he celebrates his first Masses
with us at our two parishes.
■ VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
IS COMING SOON! AUG. 8-12. Our annual FUN Bible School is coming
soon. Register today! The cost is $20.00
per student, $40.00 per family with a
price increase for registration after June
26th. Your generous help is needed to
supply some items for the VBS, so we
invite you to take a leaf from ―The Giving
Tree‖, purchasing a needed item and re-
turning it to church. Let’s all work to-
gether to make the 2011 Vacation Bible
School a great faith experience for our
children. Call the office at 651.465.7345
for questions, or to register.
