GIVING TEST
We are in the giving season in our country. The meaning of Thanksgiving and Christ-mas is not like it “used to be”. Why, because WE have allowed those whose job it is to figure out how to get our hard earned money. The season is no longer to meditate on how good God has been to us all year long and allowing us to see the closing of another year and give Him thanks but what gift to buy and what am I going to get and how much plastic I’m going to spend and what bills I can put off until January. I keep wondering why there is no 70% off the rest of the year; am I being overcharged? Take my little GIVING TEST of things that should be on your giving list.
1. How many days a year do you give to your children _____? 2. How may days a year do you give to your spouse _____? 3. How many days a year do you give to your parents _____? 4. How many days a year do you give to your hobbies_____? 5. How many days a year do you give to yourself to just rest_____? 6. How many days a year do you give to attend worship_____? 7. How many days a year do you give to attend Sunday school _____? 8. How many days a year do you give to attend Wednesday night_____? 9. How many days a year do you give to sharing the gospel_____? 10. How many days a year do you give to helping the needy _____? 11. How many days a year do you give to teach children/grands _____? 12. How many days a year does our God give you/family F-C-S _____? 13. How many days a year does our God give you H-S and a Job_____? 14. How many days a year does our God give you His Son to plea for you ____? 15. How many days a year does our God provide Salvation_____?
Beyonce, you know who Beyonce is right? Beyonce sings this song “put a ring on it”, ask your teenagers to let you listen to it on their I pod. “You should have put a ring on it”, her meaning in my mind is, you saw that she was good for you, she provides what you needed but you waited too late and missed out. You knew it was good for you, you wanted it but, you did not put a ring on it. You have heard that God has been good, you have seen/experienced the goodness of God, and will you put a ring on it? You do that by becoming a New Testament Christian or by giving your life back to Him. Don’t wait until it is too late TO PUT A RING ON IT! Gal. 3:26-27, Js. 1:17-18, Js. 2:15-17, Js .4:7-11

Keith’s Kitchen…
Keith’s Kitchen is an op-
portunity to support our
work in Honduras. Each
Wednesday at 6:15PM
Keith prepares a deli-
cious meal. The teens help with the
dessert, drinks and clean-up. All
proceeds go to the accounts of stu-
dents who help. There is no set fee
but your generous checks should be
made to Tampa Youth Missions.
Dessert this week: Garcia, McDaniel,
Matthews J.
Moore Baby Girl Shower/Luncheon…
You are invited to a Baby Shower/
Luncheon for Ty Moore TODAY at
12:30PM at the Retreat House. Ty is
registered at Target. Preference is
diapers, wipes, or gift cards.
New Pocket Directory…
Our new family pocket directory is
available in the racks at the sound
booth and on the foyer table. Keep
your copy up-to-date by checking
the bulletin each week for additions
and changes. Remember to inform
the office if you move or if any of
your information changes.
Thank You…
Last weekend the youth group had a
fantastic retreat in High Springs,
Florida. I want to thank all of the
adult volunteers that cooked,
prepped, participated, led, drove,
planned and prayed for this week-
end! It is not possible without you!
At the end of the day, we have an
amazing youth group that rededi-
cated their focus on the One True
Master! Ask around about the week-
end and see what the teens have to
share! Thanks again, Matt.

Children’s Corner…
Parents of children up to
5th grade, your child
won't want to miss this
year’s Christmas party,
Friday night December 21 from 5:30-
9:00! We will partner with Parents
Night Out so that children of all ages
can participate. The fun includes
games, devo, food, and a visit from
one of Santa's helpers. Children who
are in K-5th grade will also take a
ride on the bus to go caroling and
check out some pretty lights. Sign
them up on the main bulletin board,
and be sure that we have a current
Release form on file.
Children’s Musical…
Twenty-three of our NWTCC
children and several adults
have been working tirelessly
over the last three months
on a musical drama entitled
“Joyland”. We look forward to pre-
senting it to the congregation on Sat-
urday evening, December 15 at
6:30PM. This is a perfect time to
invite your friends, family and
neighbors to experience the JOY of
being a part of the body of Christ!
The program will be followed by a
cookie reception, where you may
meet our talented cast and maybe
even get their autographs!
A joyous evening of holiday cheer is
in store for you!
It is Christmas Eve at Joyland Toy
Store and Mr. Goodman is preparing
for the after-Christmas toy sale.
But, when the store closes, the left-
over toys magically come to life!
They are sad that they are not
wrapped as gifts under a child’s
Christmas tree, but they meet a new
friend who teaches them about
Jesus, the best gift of all!
