Family Camp 2019Family Camp 2019

6:00pm (1st Sun)

It’s called a quasquicentennial. That’s the fancy way to wish a 125th anniversary. In 1894, our antecedent denomination (The Reformed Baptist Alliance of Canada) convened in Browns Flat for the 6th Annual Meeting of the Alliance. Meals cost a quarter. There were nine sessions in all. The first meeting was a devotional service which set the stage for this historic camp as a place where we would lift high the Name of Jesus!

There were four churches organized into existence at this Annual Meeting. The only one that still exists is in Marysville (Fredericton) and now bears the name Crosspoint. The final session of business included a motion to give the five acres of land that began our summer tradition a name - Beulah Camp Ground. Today, Atlantic District Camp Ministry includes 110 acres at Beulah Camp, about 10 acres at Riverside in Maine, and 120 acres for Caton’s Island - a total of approximately 240 acres!

So we’re glad you and your family are here to enjoy our 125th Beulah Family Camp. A careful review of this entire booklet will insure you do not unknowingly miss out on something you or your family would enjoy. We know God will speak into your life and you will leave closer to Him and ready to share in the mission we share.

Happy Quasquicentennial!Rev. Peter T. MooreAtlantic District Superintendent
