Joel Strickland is a youth minister, youth speaker and the Executive Pastor at Thornapple Valley Church in Hastings, MI. Joel comes with a lot of energy, along with personal stories of loss and difficulty. Through those challanging times he now passionately presents the love of Christ to help teens get through the hard times in their own lives. Joel and his wife, Crystal recently adopted two sons, Kaysaan (2) and Kaleb (1).

Mark and Andrea’s marriage combined two gospel music ministries into one. Mark had a solo career for seven years, and Andrea had been traveling in her father’s ministry since age two. With their two sons, Tyler and Trevor their goal is to see souls come to know Jesus and to be of help to the local church.

The Wilsons are long-time Simpson Park attendees and fans. Before heading to Africa in 1998, they were actually married in the Simpson Park Tabernacle! For the last five years they have been serving in the Middle East/North Africa where they work with a movement that is planting churches among the unreached through multi-national teams. They have a passion for the least reached places on earth, as well as helping to raise up the next generation of missionaries to carry this work onward.

As a gifted communicator, worship leader, author and artist, Jonathan is passionate about incarnational expressions of the Gospel. A life-long Salvationist, dedicated to seeing the Kingdom of God become a present reality in our world through intercession, evangelism, and discipleship. As a husband and father, Jonathan is blessed with countless opportunities to better understand God’s love and mercy.

Rev. Dr. Joy Moore joined the faculty at Fuller Theological Seminary in 2012 as the Associ-ate Dean for African American Church Studies and Assistant Professor of Preaching. She came from Duke University Divinity School where she served as the Associate Dean for Church Relations and the Associate Dean of Black Church Studies. Moore is an ordained elder in the United Meth-odist Church.

The Watsons serve with World Missions and Evangelism, Inc., and also founded Ministerio da Vida in Mozambique. They share the Gospel, provide clean water and create places for children to gather and play. Todd worked for General Motors before attending Michigan Theological Seminary and YWAM in Brazil. Todd and Noemia have three children, Daniel, Clara and Julie.

Share ten days of fellowship and inspiration... or come for just one, two or three days!Whether participating for the first time, or returning for your annual pilgrimage, come experience Simpson Park Camp Meeting as we host our 151st year. Simpson Park Camp Meeting Grounds are a unique space for the whole family. Our rustic, back-to-nature setting invites families to pull away from hurried lives. Come experience a sense of God’s presence that quiets the mind and spirit.

Dan Cutchen joins us again this summer, and we are very excited to welcome him back! He is an exciting performer who blends music and drama to present stories from the Bible, helping children find a common ground to celebrate God’s works and character while worshipping Jesus Christ. He’s wacky! He’s fun! Dan holds a B.A. and a Masters in Music Composi-tion. He and his wife, Joy, offer work-shops in creative communication through their ministry, Future Hope Ministries.

In 1999 after Hurricane Mitch hit Honduras, Bill and Ellen Gass built a colony of 70 homes, the Mission of Hope Community. Since then 44 schools have been built, libraries have been started and an adult literacy program has opened.Today over 350 people work together and live in the community. The Mission of Hope truly believes in helping the needy to help themselves.
