EDUCATION & COMMUNITY

THE ARTS ARE FOR EVERYONE!Our mission is to create meaningful community-building experiences for the citizens of Miami-Dade County and South Florida through active learning and live theatrical experiences. Each year, we offer more than 100 culturally diverse and inclusive events serving 40,000 people of all ages many enhanced by the Arsht Center’s relationship with Miami-Dade County Public Schools, local teaching artists, arts organizations and resident companies.

Through the JAzz ROOTS Education Program, more than 900 Miami-Dade jazz students annually take master classes with star performers, attend pre-performance sound checks and receive free tickets to JAzz ROOTS concerts.Photo by Justin Namon.
