10th Annual Golf and Spa Tournament at Richmond Hill Golf Club –Sept. 12, 2015

We were extremely excited to be invited to the MaltonBaptist Church and Richview Baptist Church Ladies Groupon the morning of September 22nd and a true blessing tobe sent home with a carload (literally) of baby andchildren’s goods. It was also a privilege to be invited toset up a booth at The Meeting House Ministry Fair onSunday, September 27th. It is so great to be able toanswer questions and be face to face with people whoare interested in our ministry. We love the opportunity tothank supporters and to pass along information about JFJHope Centre programs and services to those who havenot heard of us before.

Sweet Opportunities to Get to Know You Better

Reaching the 10th Annual Golf & Spa Tournamentis an accomplishment that we could only haveachieved with your support. It means so much to usthat participants and volunteers took time out oftheir busy lives to support JFJ Hope Center.

It has become somewhat of a tradition to bring a rainjacket to the JFJ Hope Centre tournament. We’re gladthe golfers came prepared, pushed through the wet

start and were able to enjoy the better weather tofollow. The golfers and spa participants made it awonderful day with good conversation, friendlycompetition and great photo poses.

The Lodge Trophy was defended by its 2014 championsfrom Bayview Glen Church. A plaque has been addedfor their 2015 success and we hope they enjoyanother year of well-earned bragging rights!

Invitations have been printed, our families have begunto register and volunteers are signing up to run tables,serve food and socialize with guests - we can hardlybelieve it but it is time to start thinking aboutChristmas 2015! We are excited to invite families fromMy Life Centre to celebrate with us again this year, weknow it is going to be an amazing time for these fami-lies to eat together and experience the true joy ofChristmas! Your generous donations of presents, pajamas, foodand time have kept this tradition alive and haveblessed families year-after-year at Christmas time. Eachyear we aim to give younger children a toy and a newpair of pajamas, and older children and parents a giftor gift card. A local school is helping to collect toys forthe little ones but we are turning to you once again tohelp provide an amazing Christmas for families who

will otherwise do without! How you can help:

Care Closet Christmas Party - Are You Ready? (Neither are we, but together we can do it!)

Thanks to your wonderful donations of gently usedclothes, shoes and other items, the Care Cupboardwas stocked and ready for families with childrenheading back to school. It is such a blessing for afamily to know that their children are ready and welloutfitted for another school year. As we prepare forthe winter season, we are most in need of warmclothing, diapers size 5 & 6, wipes (always) andmonetary donations to continue helping our localcommunity. We appreciate your continued support.
