2. Media, interaction, services and knowledge in internet multimedia-databases, man-computer-communication, network protocols, interfaces, security, multimedia-interfaces, cooperative frameworks, design of media streams

3. Intelligent formal systems for complex environments investigation of formal systems for problems, for which the solution needs intelligence

or support by fast computers, specification of discrete processes and proofs of their properties, Computational Logic, semantics and rewrite systems, knowledge representation and image processing
