But mix-y is also good, because trans women often want the option to flirt with straight men going out, something that a lot of generic «queer» parties can’t quite understand for whatever reason.

Does the word “queer” still mean something nowadays?I’m suspicious of the word because I usually associate it with white faggotry overpowering different types of legiti-mately queer people and spaces. I still use it to describe my sexuality, but the most urgent conversations for me are more about about misogyny/transmisogyny and racism. Trans women of color are disproportionately targeted and lynched in the streets, or run over repeatedly in church parking lots, as was the case most recently in Kansas City with Tamara Dominguez. It’s August now and 19 trans women/gender non conforming people have been killed in my country this year, most of them black or latina trans women. This is a fucking crises for the trans community, and it really feels like no one cares about these beautiful and powerful women getting murdered. Queerness to me will mean something again when «queer» ppl giving a fuck about the girls bearing the brunt of backlash against the «progress» made by gay assimilationists.

Is sex overrated?I don’t think so. Sex is very powerful, a lot of shit locked away in my brain comes out during sex. I don’t know about overrated but I definitely think its a very potent human interaction/exchange of power.

Do you consider yourself as a good friend?With certain friends. I think «good» is a difficult term for me but some people I just don’t have to worry. Since people actually take the time to organize and reshuffle and filter millions and millions of images, they surely must get some deeper significance from them.
